Sorting through my phone album, I found this set of furry-version Ganyu landscape photos taken before the New Year. Because I felt the set atmosphere and costume texture of this studio shoot were quite good, I decided to organize the landscape photos separately into a pure edition to share.
This blue and white furry coat is a fan design from U-jia. The furry coat's shark hood design has a strong sense of styling, with fin-like shapes on both sides of the hood, which, combined with the white plush trim and minor chest details, perfectly fits the cozy, lazy, and cute winter atmosphere. The hairstyle is paired with a light blue wavy curly wig, and the makeup is clean and translucent, focusing on the eyes and lips, leaning toward a moist and clear look that matches the overall ice-blue dreamy tone. The white furry shoe covers on the feet also complete the overall look, running the plush element from head to toe for this blue hair cosplay.
The shooting location was the dreamy water-blue themed set arranged by Ark Photography Studio. The scene features a large expanse of ice-blue background cloth, tulle curtains, and some laser-reflective decorations, along with a few characteristic glowing jellyfish lights, as well as white Roman columns, white lace photo frames, and scattered arrangements of white and pink flowers, forming a crisp yet sweet ice-snow fairy tale texture. The on-site lighting design was also highly sophisticated; many starry dots and snowflake-shaped bokeh effects were added to the background, and combined with the blue reflective plastic sheets spread under the feet, it captured beautiful color reflections, making the entire frame look translucent and glossy.
In terms of composition, I have personally always preferred landscape framing. Although current browsing habits on many social media platforms lean toward portrait framing or nine-grid formats, where landscape photos shrunk into phone covers do not have an advantage, landscape orientation can better convey the spatial relationship of the character within the entire environment and the breathing room of the scene. In this photoset, there is a shot of sitting while making a peace sign against my cheek, a shot of standing and reaching out, and a side-profile composition leaning next to a candelabra; landscape framing fully preserves the details of these props and the sense of spatial extension. During the shoot, special attention was paid to the balance between the character and the frame, preventing the model from being placed too far at the edges while preserving the integrity of elements like floral arrangements, candles, and glowing jellyfish, allowing viewers to feel a coherent fairy-tale space from the image.
For the character Ganyu, I have done many different stylings before, but this time, the style of the fan-made furry coat reduces the character's usual seriousness and work-oriented feel, adding a daily, quiet, and cool-yet-warm lifestyle essence. After putting on this furry costume, one's entire state naturally becomes soft and relaxed. Throughout the shoot, Teacher Xiaoluo was exceptionally patient with adjusting and guiding the hair, makeup, and studio sets, especially in controlling angles and expressions, capturing many natural and relaxed moments. Although it has been a while since this photoset was shot, when flipping back through it to organize it, I can still feel the quiet creative atmosphere in the studio back then. This is probably the narrative sense brought by landscape images, making it highly worth recording in this way.
