Putting on the light blue long curly wig and a halter dress adorned with 3D white flowers, along with the silver rhinestone crown and a deep red velvet bow, this time I wanted to recreate the pure and clear temperament of Water Blue from Roco Kingdom through my Anime cosplay. To better align with the character design, I chose light blue eyeshadow and matching colored contacts for the eye makeup, with a faint touch of blended red at the outer corners. Paired with a rosy lip color, it added a sense of agile vitality to the overall makeup, giving the frame more life.
The shoot took place under natural outdoor light. The soft illumination hitting the wig and silver accessories made the texture even closer to this dreamy setting than expected, beautifully highlighting the results of this Blue wig styling. The visual keynote of Water Blue is watery and clean, so I intentionally relaxed my posture and expressions, trying to capture details that are slightly proud yet very approachable. This is my first time trying this strapless ruffled look, which is indeed very flattering for the neck and shoulder lines, and the edge design of the skirt hem adds a touch of lightness to the movements. Although the Convention outdoor photography session was quite busy, being able to coordinate with the perfect natural light was truly a stroke of luck. Occasionally adjusting angles for the shoot, the gentle breeze rustled the wig, creating a carefree, airy feeling that perfectly fits the translucent vibe of the character. I look forward to the final photos presenting that unique crispness and lightness of Water Blue.
