Let's talk about the costume design details first. The main color palette is a light blue-green that I really love, paired with a white lining for a clean and refreshing look. Generous gold foil patterns enhance the overall grandeur, such as the motifs on the sleeves and hem, which combine with metallic buttons to give the costume great texture under lighting. The oversized pink striped bow on the chest acts as the visual focus, adding depth while looking lively and sweet. The transition between cuffs and gloves is another highlight: white short gloves feature tiny pink window accents, harmonizing seamlessly with the overall pink, white, and blue palette. These playful yet stylized elements capture the very essence of an anime-style outfit.

The head styling also required considerable effort. The light grey-blue wig was styled into fluffy pigtails. This hair color heavily tests wig quality; it needs to be smooth yet voluminous to avoid looking like a solid block of plastic. The headwear is also highly faithful to the original, featuring a white rounded cap edged with red and blue stripes, topped prominently by two large plush animal ears that gradient from light blue to white. The plush texture gives the hat a rich three-dimensional look that perfectly fits the soft, adorable temperament of the character. We adjusted the materials and internal support structures multiple times for these plush details, and the final result successfully held up the entire look.

The book held in the first photo has Cyrillic letters printed on its cover—I looked up the meaning, and it turns out to be an embryology atlas. Seeing this prop immediately hit me with a delightful gap-moe contrast! The vintage treatment and gold foil lettering on the book cover are exquisite, lending weight and an academic feel when held. The large composite prop in the third photo was also assembled by hand, piece by piece, featuring a white, blue, gold, and purple palette with heart-shaped and geometric cutouts at the base. Although large sheet props are difficult to carry around, it balances the composition beautifully in the frame and reveals the character's magical, fantasy side.

For the location choice, we intentionally created two distinct atmospheres. One is a study setting in front of bookshelves, where wooden shelves filled with colorful hardcover books and soft light filtering through white curtains complement the embryology book, creating a quiet yet magical vibe. The other is set in front of a piano, where sheet music enriches background depth and imparts an artistic, literary feel, perfectly showcasing the character's gentle side. There's also a studio BTS shot against a solid backdrop, designed to showcase the overall silhouette of the costume and props in their purest form, making it easy to spot design highlights that might be overlooked in a complex background.

Reflecting on behind-the-scenes moments and creating cosplay photography like this, my deepest realization is that exceptional work requires immense dedication to refine. From outfit preparation and finding suitable locations to adjusting posing and lighting, every step demands meticulous attention. On the day of the shoot, working long hours is often necessary to capture the best state.
