[Takanashi Hoshino cosplay] Blue Archive's Lazy Home Style Cat-Like Daily Life - Image 2

This shoot features the home look of Takanashi Hoshino from Blue Archive, leaning towards a lazy, casual style with a touch of cat-like elements. Compared to her combat image of carrying a shield in the character setting, this set of photos aims to present a relaxed and unguarded state in her private life.

For the outfit, I chose a very loose pure white hoodie, intentionally pulling the neckline a bit wider to expose one shoulder for a more natural look. There is a small pink paw print on the chest of the white hoodie, perfectly echoing the overall pink-themed outfit. The white choker with a small bell around the neck adds a touch of playfulness. The lower body is paired with pink ruffled lace shorts and white over-the-knee socks. The tops of the socks weren't pulled too tight, leaving a bit of natural skin fold, which is exactly the level of comfort this casual home-clothing style aims to express.

The wig selected is a light pink medium-long style, with the hair ends tied into a low ponytail using red round-bead hair ties. I also wore a pair of cat-ear hair accessories on my head, and to complement the cat-like setting, a pink-and-white fluffy tail was added at the back. For the makeup, I specially chose bright blue colored contacts, paired with a large area of pinkish-purple blended eye makeup and under-eye blush to make the overall look more youthful. The eyebrows were drawn softly without intentionally emphasizing the outline, pursuing a gentle and clear makeup effect.

The shooting location was right in the sofa area of the living room at home, utilizing natural light streaming in from the window. In the soft-lit afternoon, a cream-white thick knit blanket was laid out, with blue-and-white striped cushions in the background; this fresh color combination is perfect for Japanese-style photography. The photographer Hongbai selected high-angle and eye-level perspectives for the composition, using the textures of the sofa and blanket to add layers to the image.

For the actions, I designed a cat-paw gesture curled up on the sofa, as well as a more casual side-lying pose. In the side-lying shot, I intentionally rested my arm on a throw pillow with the tail naturally draped behind me, emphasizing the laziness. The entire set of photos didn't intentionally force any strong, high-power poses, precisely to stay close to Takanashi Hoshino's daily "ojisan-style" casualness while still retaining a bit of cute maiden attributes. The atmosphere during the shoot was very relaxed, requiring no complex lighting or props; as long as the state was relaxed, the coziness would naturally flow. Seeing the final results, I feel this casual cosplay matches the gap moe displayed by the character in the story perfectly, and I hope to convey this leisurely and comfortable vibe of life to players who love Blue Archive.
