This time, the shoot is of Shimoe Koharu's lace dress version from Blue Archive. While retaining the character's iconic pink hair and halo elements, the overall costume intentionally adds a lot of white lace ruffles. The white shirt of the upper body features an off-the-shoulder cut, paired with a black silk bow at the collar and a black pleated skirt, visually carrying both a girl's playfulness and a hint of a little devil's rebellious aura. The over-the-knee white socks and the black skirt hem form a classic black-and-white color scheme, which is richly layered.
The paired accessories were also prepared with great care. For the headpiece, aside from the iconic red-and-black halo ring, a black feathered wing headband was specially added. This wonderful combination of "angel wings" and "devil halo" highlights a sweet and cool contrast-cute charm unique to the 2D aesthetic compared to the original version. The pink long hair is fluffy and smooth long straight hair, with the styling on top of the head and the curvature of the bangs referenced from the character's official art features, making the whole person look very soft in front of the lens under the orange-toned lip makeup.
This set of photos was specially shot in a gaming scene filled with pink ambient light. There is a cat paw pattern on the chair, and a pink mechanical keyboard, headphones, and a bright orange energy drink can are placed on the desktop. These daily-life props break the dimensional wall and make the cosplay appear more natural and grounded. The computer chassis and water cooling in the background emit a faint blue-purple glow, forming a warm-and-cool contrast with the pink main tone, making the light and shadow in the frame more three-dimensional, as if truly having an exclusive gaming corner of one's own in the real world.
During the shooting process, I tried many different sitting postures. Especially the angle of turning sideways to look back at the camera in the third photo, it can not only showcase the black feathered little wings on the back of the costume and the tightened waistlines, but also gives the person's overall temperament a bit of laziness and confidence. Since the white lace and black skirt possess a great texture under the neon lights, the post-processing intentionally leaned towards soft pink and purple tones to highlight the dreamy gaming girl feel.
The lace fabric of this outfit has quite a few layers, and the ruffles on the cuffs and skirt hem are very fluffy. Even when just sitting casually on the chair, the natural draping of the clothes presents a great dynamic effect without the need to intentionally strike stiff poses. Cooperating with the photographer's guidance during the shoot, trying to keep the gaze cool yet innocent can beautifully restore the character's personality baseline—seemingly serious but actually scatterbrained. Using the neon light source as the main illumination gave the pink wig a soft rim light, making the entire person look as if enveloped in a filter. When checking the overall styling in front of the mirror, I felt that the match of this lace element carried a very high compatibility with the character, and the captured results were highly satisfying, making it a truly pleasant experience to produce these photos.
