[Reed the Flame Shadow cosplay] Arknights, A Quiet Moment in the Reed Marsh

While the sunset was just right, I shot a set of Reed the Flame Shadow in the reed bushes. This autumn reed marsh fits her temperament so perfectly; when the fluffy tassels are blown by the wind, it always brings to mind that gentle yet stubbornly persistent determination in her story. During the shoot, we intentionally selected many low angles and backlighting, hoping to highlight the starlight details on the weapon and the layered texture of the clothing materials. The long spear in my hand was actually quite heavy, but after holding it for a long time, I got used to its weight instead—just like the past she bears.

I had great chemistry with the photographer for this outdoor photography session, capturing several natural and relaxed moments, such as the one holding flowers with closed eyes, and the moment turning back while standing in the grass. Although the reed fluff was flying all around during the shoot and occasionally blurred the lens, the fluffy light and shadow atmosphere in the final photos felt even more authentic.

Every time I do a Roleplay of a character, it feels like a short trip—stepping into her world for a journey and then recording this memory with photos. The color tone of this set is on the warmer side, hoping to capture and preserve that serene yet resilient feeling within the reed marsh.
