[Yaoyao Princess Cosplay] Honor of Kings Cinnamoroll's Dream Blue-and-White Fairy Tale

Preparations for this Yaoyao princess cosplay look for Cinnamoroll's Dream involved extensive discussions with my photographer early on. The overall theme focused on a blue-and-white dreamy palette. To match character design, I chose a waist-length light-golden twintail wig, accented on side braids with sky-blue satin ribbon bows that echoed the color theme while adding youthful girliness.

The costume craftsmanship was exquisite. The semi-transparent, crystal-textured headpiece atop my head was sculpted with graceful curves, avoiding harsh plastic looks for a water-like translucency. White plush rabbit ears on the side and white plush armbands at the shoulders maximized the "moe" aesthetic. A large bow at the waist featured a plush animal charm in the center, faithfully preserving her signature cute and playful demeanor.

Props were a major highlight. The blue-and-white spliced bouquet swapped standard plastic fake flowers for high-shine silk fabric, wrapped in white lace with trailing sky-blue ribbons—resembling a bridal bouquet that added sanctity and ritualistic flair.

For makeup, to pop on camera, subtle pearlescent highlighter accented the inner eye corners and lower eyelids, paired with bright blue contact lenses that glistened under top lighting for that coveted "dewy glass-skin" makeup finish. Combined with a fair base, it blended seamlessly into this cute dress.

We shot at Kasumi Studio, which provided a clean high-key white background very friendly for post-processing. Special thanks to my photographer @MalouBuhuiHouqi for guiding my posing—like holding the bouquet at ideal angles and keeping arm poses natural. Despite limited studio space, adjusting light direction and intensity produced transparent, fresh lighting effects. I love the dynamic tension of the naturally cascading ribbons paired with a slight side profile for an airy, breathing frame instead of stiff standing.

The outfit offered decent skin comfort. Although plush shoulder trim can make shoulders look broad, adjusting my pose with a subtle side angle or leaning slightly forward easily negated that effect. Though dense, the wig didn't look oversized thanks to prior layered trimming. The sizable bouquet served as a wonderful visual anchor when held with proper tension.

Regarding Operator Yaoyao's expression across different skins, this Cinnamoroll's Dream collaboration maximizes pure cuteness. This setup retained core IP traits while amplifying the dreamy, healing atmosphere. Beyond game skill mechanics, using visual language to tell a fairy-tale story is what makes Cosplay so enjoyable. Shooting wasn't easy—starting hair and makeup at 7 AM took a heavy physical toll, but seeing raw camera shots hit exact expectations instantly washed all fatigue away.

Overall, it was a thoroughly delightful creative journey. The photographer expertly captured the soft, fluffy texture I envisioned with expert lighting that delivered transparent brightness. Every fabric pleat and trailing ribbon showed up perfectly under bright studio light.
