[Sunna cosplay] The Delusional Angel of Zenless Zone Zero descends - Image 1

The layering of Sunna's styling is extremely rich. From the moment I received the outfit, I was thinking about how to translate the two-dimensional texture into the three-dimensional space of the real world. The light mint green wig is the tone base of the entire styling. To make the hair strands look airy and free of frizz, I spent a long time combing and styling it, and the styling at the top of the wig needs a certain amount of support. The geometric hair accessories on top of the head, as well as the pink and black shaped hair clips on the bangs—such as the band-aid shaped ones—are all the finishing touches. To ensure they stayed secure and didn't fall off during the shoot, I used many hidden hairpins to fix them, which was a real test of patience. The upper body white shirt features a ruffled design, paired with that star-patterned red tie, making it very eye-catching visually. To keep the tie crisp, transparent tape was padded inside for shaping. The black multi-layered tulle fluffy skirt heavily tests sitting posture; a slight carelessness would flatten it, so while sitting on the black round bucket, I constantly used core strength to control my body, leaning forward slightly to maintain the fluffiness of the skirt hem.
The black armbands and pink-and-white striped fingerless sleeves on the arms, along with the white knee-high socks paired with pink-and-white striped leg warmers on the legs, are the keys to restoring the cute girl setting. The black and blue leather straps on the thighs—to capture great-looking results without leaving too deep of red marks—had their tightness adjusted several times. The shooting location for this time was chosen in an underground environment filled with cyberpunk and techwear vibes, and the wire mesh and huge character standee in the background create an incredible atmosphere. In terms of lighting, the photographer used a large amount of purple-red and blue cold-and-warm contrast lighting, with a warm-yellow spotlight in the upper right corner. This complex neon lighting hitting the white shirt and black tulle skirt can produce a strong light-and-shadow contrast, but it can also make the makeup look dirty. Therefore, I chose a matte texture for the base makeup, intensified the color saturation of the eyeshadow and blush, and matched it with light green contact lenses to better highlight the three-dimensionality of the facial features under the purple light.
As a character with delusional angel and loli attributes, the expression of demeanor and body language is particularly important. I deliberately curled my legs slightly, placed my hands naturally on the edge, and stared directly into the lens, trying to showcase that feeling carrying a hint of innocence mixed with a little devilish playfulness. Because the white socks on the feet stepped on the dark bucket, they formed a strong contrast between light and dark, which naturally guides the line of sight to the leg lines and leg warmers during composition. Throughout the shooting process, the photographer kept guiding me to adjust angles to find the exact moment that best showcases the character's traits. To display a better techwear feel, I also strapped on a pink double-shoulder decorative backpack, increasing the overall layering of the styling.
