The raw photos for this Touhou Project Flandre Scarlet Cosplay were shot with a dominant red-and-black theme. Due to a busy real-life work schedule, I simply cannot squeeze out enough time for detailed Cosplay post-production, so I'm looking for an editor who is interested in collaborating or working on a TFP/commission basis. During the shoot, I set up a solid red seamless background paper, with lighting primarily using side-rim light and top light to create a theatrical, shadowy mood. For the outfit, it's a multi-tiered pink-and-white Lolita dress accented with red ribbons and cross motifs. I also specially prepared a black staff prop with distinct shapes on both ends, from which prismatic, laser-reflective geometric crystals hang. To enrich the composition, deep crimson apples and white skull props were scattered across the floor.
For makeup, I did heavier eye makeup and created a special teardrop effect with clear gel tears along the corners of my eyes and cheeks, paired with long black nails. The overall character impression I wanted to evoke is an eerie, fractured, dark fairy tale vibe. In terms of posing, I experimented with standing, crouching, sitting, and kneeling postures, aiming to showcase her childish innocence intertwined with an underlying sense of danger. There are also various interactions with the staff, scattered fruit, and skulls. Because of the colored ambient lighting, the raw files have a strong reddish cast affecting the skin tones and outfit details, which is an area that needs careful attention during editing.
Regarding the retouching, my personal hope is to retain the rich red-and-black atmosphere while highlighting the texture of the teardrop makeup. Stylistically, I'd love it to lean toward a dark fairy tale or mild horror aesthetic, cleaning up the background to make it neat and pure with sharp red-and-black contrast. The face needs fine retouching to correct color casts, enhance facial contours, and preserve natural skin texture without excessive over-smoothing. It would be wonderful if the sharpness and details of the lace and ruffles on the dress could be enhanced, and the lighting on the legs and White stockings shaped to add depth to the frame.
One thing to emphasize: since I'm quite busy myself, please pass if you have too many orders, a packed schedule, or might end up unable to deliver the edited photos on time. I really hope to find an editor with sufficient time and smooth communication so we can discuss the editing direction together and ensure a final delivery. The raw files are all sorted; if any editor likes this style and wants to give it a try, feel free to DM me for the full-resolution files. I look forward to completing this set together and fully bringing the initial creative vision to life.
