[Tsukishiro Yanagi cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero: Tactical Execution on Site

I've finally sorted through these convention photos from the comic con and picked out a few favorite shots to share with everyone. Preparing and wearing this Tsukishiro Yanagi cosplay outfit took quite a bit of effort—especially the structure of the belts and shoulder armor, which needed to be comfortable while preserving the character's crisp, capable demeanor. The white collared shirt paired with a high-waisted black skirt creates a sleek, workplace-elite vibe. The thin-framed glasses were specifically chosen to match the pink braided hair, and under the exhibition hall's ceiling lights, the overall texture was maximized.

Shooting that day was honestly quite tiring; the venue was crowded and the lighting was messy, but the photographer was fantastic at finding great angles. The weapon prop in the photos is nearly two meters long, making the center of gravity difficult to control when holding it one-handed while simultaneously maintaining natural facial expressions and poses. In particular, the crouching backward glance and the reverse-grip blade stance truly relied on full core strength. Still, I love how the results turned out—especially the standing pose in Photo 5 with legs slightly crossed, which not only visually elongates body proportions but also showcases the belt details and ID badge texture to the fullest. The prop's lacquer finish caught the flash beautifully, carrying substantial weight in hand.

During breaks, I interacted with many fellow fans who were all very warm and enthusiastic. The costume is actually a bit warm and stuffy under bright sunlight, but for the final visual quality, it was completely worthwhile. The charm of Anime-style photography lies in bringing 2D characters into reality through styling and visual storytelling. Even though every cosplay involves tedious preparation, the moment you see the finished photos makes all the effort feel worthwhile. This set of Convention photos focuses on capturing smooth, natural postures and movement rather than forced, exaggerated poses, staying truer to the character's calm, steady demeanor. The industrial pillars around the venue echoed the blue-and-black palette of the outfit, creating a cohesive color tone.
