[La Pluma cosplay] Arknights Coral Coast Swimsuit Record

Temperatures down south remain scorching, making this Coral Coast swimsuit set a perfect match for the weather. Preparing this swimsuit coordinate for La Pluma from Arknights took quite some time, with careful thought poured into everything from wig styling to accessory coordination. The deep blue-gray short hair was styled into twin buns on either side, clipped with white feather and yellow flower ornaments. For makeup, I applied soft, delicate blending around the eye area, aiming to channel her nimble yet subtly languid demeanor.

The wardrobe features a white halter-neck bikini top and matching swim bottoms, draped beneath a loose-fitting pale blue jacket. I let the jacket slip down slightly toward my elbows to reveal clean neck and shoulder contours while enriching textural layering. The ID badge holder and bright yellow whistle hanging from my neck served as quintessential signature accents, alongside the black-and-blue gloves. The blue-and-white inflatable Beach ball in my hands proved to be a fantastic prop, keeping poses looking organic and fluid rather than stiff.

The shoot was staged in a sunlit interior featuring Japanese tatami mats and a wooden veranda, where natural light filtered softly through white sheer curtains with pristine clarity. The camera setup paired a Sony A1 with Viltrox 35mm f/1.2 LAB and Viltrox 85mm f/1.4 Pro lenses. The 35mm established spatial context, highlighting the textures of the low wooden table and tatami; the 85mm captured sharp, emotive close-ups, especially facial expressions and elongated leg contours. Aperture and shutter settings were dialed in meticulously to balance peak image fidelity with cinematic depth of field.

During posing, I explored diverse seating variations: cross-legged on the floor, sitting with knees bent hugging the ball, and perching along the edge of the veranda steps. Being barefoot felt entirely natural for a summer theme, visually elongating leg lines within the frame. To capture flattering angles, I focused on keeping my spine upright, tucking my chin, projecting an engaging connection through the eyes, and keeping fingers relaxed or softly grazing an ankle or cheek. When sitting on the steps, staggering the feet visually lengthened proportions; when hugging the beach ball, engaging the forearms slightly while dropping my shoulders elongated the neck.

The entire shoot flowed effortlessly. Though the hardwood boards were rather rigid, seeing the interplay of sunlight and shadow in the final edits alongside an authentic, relaxed state made this shoot thoroughly worthwhile. With summer winding down to its final countdown, completing this series serves as a wonderful visual tribute to the season.
