I did several trial fittings for this Eve combat suit before the convention, mainly because a white skinsuit places very high demands on body silhouette and sleek fit. I chose a fabric with a certain thickness and a subtle reflective sheen, which better captures the game's high-tech Sci-fi style aesthetic while preventing it from looking cheap under harsh lighting. To support the styling, the mechanical gauntlets and platform ankle boots actually carried considerable weight, creating noticeable pressure around the wrists and ankles when worn for an extended period.

During the convention shoot, the greatest challenge lay in balancing venue lighting with dynamic posture. Posing seated on a metal truss with legs crossed required constant core and leg muscle engagement; with no practical effects on site, physical tension alone had to evoke the imagined surge of crackling electricity. To complement the photographer's upward low-angle framing, jawline definition and a cool, detached gaze had to be meticulously controlled. White garments easily blow out under convention hall lights, but fortunately, the photographer excelled at capturing shadow details; combining that with blue-and-white lightning visual effects in post-production dialed the atmosphere up to eleven.

The convention floor was packed that day, and because the skinsuit had limited breathability, breaks mostly meant standing or sitting straight up without leaning against anything to avoid stains or snags. Due to the rigid hardware on the gauntlets, simple tasks like drinking water or holding a phone became quite tricky, requiring constant help from my friend. Still, every time my wig and collar were straightened out before stepping in front of the lens, the deep focus of fully slipping into character was deeply enjoyable. Doing cosplay is precisely this bittersweet journey—constantly fine-tuning details just to present the most faithful visual recreation. Quite a few fellow fans recognized the look at the venue, quietly flashing a hand gesture or raising their cameras from a distance, and that unspoken sense of validation was truly heartwarming. These Convention photos document my take on this sci-fi look, and I hope they convey this hardcore mechanical aesthetic to everyone.
