Today I'm sharing the behind-the-scenes record of our duo photoshoot featuring the Star Guardian skins for Jinx and 娑娜 from Golden Spatula.

We initially scouted a sprawling sports stadium as our primary location. We picked this venue because the expansive bleachers, rows of blue stadium seats, and immense exposed steel scaffolding evoke a grand, slightly cold industrial aura. This backdrop established an intense visual counterpoint against our richly saturated costumes. The day was overcast with gentle, diffused daylight, but we still brought portable studio strobes and off-camera flashes—primarily to carve our silhouettes out of the deep background while accentuating garment textures and wig saturation.

I cosplayed Jinx for this session. To faithfully channel her demeanor, I styled the wig in advance: parting the long crimson tresses into signature twintails while teasing the ends to create a voluminous, intentionally wild look. The white ear pieces flanking her crown and the quirky purple cartoon charms accentuated her mischievous streak. For the wardrobe, the ensemble followed a palette of crimson, white, and deep navy, anchored by a massive red star emblem centered prominently on the chest. My favorite element was the pair of dark blue over-the-knee boots trimmed in gold—not only did they visually elongate my legs, but their structural fidelity was top-notch. For props, I wielded an oversized weapon crowned with a vibrant pink four-leaf clover head. To maximize dynamic tension under wide-angle lenses, I leaned into expansive poses—cross-legged across the bleachers, reclining against railings, or planting one palm against the concrete. The edge distortion characteristic of wide angles actually worked in our favor, dramatically exaggerating the prop's mass and the kinetic energy of my posture.

My partner portraying 娑娜 was a total showstopper with her cascading emerald-green straight hair, crowned by gold-trimmed white beast ears and delicate wire-rimmed glasses. Her styling featured a refined white, green, and gold palette paired with tall green boots, radiating poised elegance throughout. In hand, she bore an enormous harp prop finished in pristine gold and white and inlaid with cyan gemstones, showcasing breathtaking craftsmanship.

For duo interactions, we choreographed hand-holding, seated-and-standing pairings, and shoulder-to-shoulder poses. The solo frame in Photo 7, where I'm seated on the bleachers, remains one of my personal favorites: the posture feels relaxed yet commanding, and the crimson hair against the dark boots pops with immense visual punch under the wide-angle frame. We inevitably ran into logistical hurdles—navigating stepped stadium bleachers in chunky platform boots was clumsy, and lugging massive props around burned immense stamina. Still, seeing the final selects proved every ounce of effort worthwhile.

We hope this photoshoot blending modern grandeur with whimsical fantasy brings everyone a uniquely captivating visual experience.
