Shuttling back and forth between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, recording myself in different scenes through the lens. The photographer for this collaboration brought a Sony A7M4 and a 35mm f1.4 prime lens, along with three flashes and a DJI RS4-mini stabilizer—a highly sophisticated equipment setup. His control over light and shadow is exceptionally professional, especially at finding the balance point between natural and artificial light. Through flexible switching of reflectors and flashes, the texture and three-dimensionality of the entire frame are instantly elevated.

Our shooting rhythm was very comfortable; whether there was a specific theme or not, we could always keep up with each other's ideas. Whether searching for urban landmarks, park green spaces, and seaside scenery for outdoor shoots, or creating story-rich scenes for indoor studio shoots, we could quickly get into the zone. The planning phase was also very interesting; we would discuss specific color matching and pose compositions together rather than just clicking the shutter, which gave the final photos more soul.

The works released this time include vivid snapshots at anime conventions as well as specially planned scene shoots, with a style primarily focused on vitality, cuteness, and aesthetic beauty. Personally, I love clean, translucent frames with a sense of breathing room, and the photographer happened to capture these traits perfectly through the lens, making every moment look agile and natural.

The photo delivery workflow is also very organized. The raw image files can usually be obtained within one or two days, the color-grading phase takes two to five days, and the fine-retouching is completed within five to seven days. He will help me finely retouch six to nine core images, while subsequent facial details are handled by myself. Although it is in a TFP format, the entire collaboration experience was highly professional. If a paid venue is required, the expenses are split fairly with no hidden burdens.

For long-term collaborations, we plan to shoot one or two sets each month, with each session lasting two to four hours. If you also have demands for artwork quality or love Anime-style photography, I hope we can create more interesting content together. I am also currently exploring video shooting, and I believe we can collaborate on more diverse visual works in the follow-ups. This Hong Kong photography and Shenzhen photoshoot cooperation was truly pleasant, and I look forward to meeting more partners, or a fellow TFP model, who are willing to settle down to create slowly and make progress together.
