[Elysia Cosplay] Honkai Impact 3rd Herrscher of Human: Pink Dreamy Rendezvous

I have finally sorted out a portion of the photos from this Elysia photoshoot. Since it was shot indoors, there were quite a few constraints regarding lighting and space; the photographer and I had to coordinate through multiple test shots to find the most suitable angles. This time, I want to focus on sharing my thoughts on the makeup, styling, and shooting techniques. The costume features a classic pink, purple, and white color palette, with the main skirt composed of layered spliced tulle, adorned with dimensional purple roses and ribbons on the outer layer. The fabric is very lightweight, but consequently prone to snagging and getting soiled, so from finishing makeup to calling action, I was carefully holding up the skirt hem almost the entire time. The wig has a pink-and-white gradient, crowned with a golden vine wreath, paired with prosthetic elf ears. To ensure they stayed secure, quite a bit of adhesive was used, which stung a little when peeling off during makeup removal. For the eye makeup, purple eyeshadow was applied to deepen the outer eye corners to fit the character's aura, complemented by colored contacts that looked exceptionally translucent under studio lighting. During the shoot, floor lights were used for fill; this low-angle uplighting hitting the white tights and skirt hem created stunning shots without appearing too dim. The photographer mainly utilized a wide aperture with low-angle upward framing—a perspective that places high demands on leg posture, but thankfully the elasticity and snug fit of the over-the-knee socks kept the lines taut and flattering. The seated leg-raising pose in the first few shots was attempted repeatedly, primarily to align the angle directly toward the lens so the legs appeared elongated rather than cluttered. The dramatic perspective shot in Photo 3, sitting on the rug with legs close to the lens, was a real test of core balance and prone to distortion, but fortunately we captured a natural expression in the end. The final full-body standing photo was taken right before wrapping up; lifting the skirt hem required measured force so it puffed out while retaining airy fluidity. Although these were informal convention-style photos taken casually and freely, they captured an unconstrained sense of authenticity. The entire day was a wonderful experience, and huge thanks to the photographer for their patient guidance, which helped me faithfully recreate the atmosphere of this character.
