The main goal of shooting this set of Emilia photos was to recreate her clean and slightly dreamy atmosphere. The long Silver hair wig paired with those long, pointed Elf ears took a long time to glue on for a secure and natural fit; the edges required extremely careful handling to avoid any flaws showing. The purple contacts were specifically chosen to perfectly echo the white and purple color scheme of the costume.

The design of this outfit is very interesting, especially those long, wide sleeves. Although they look imposing, I had to be careful not to completely block my face when posing, so coordinating standing and sitting postures was crucial. The sitting pose in the second photo required the pairing of white tights and platform heels to make the leg shape look better, ensuring the character's original aura isn't lost despite the long skirt. White tights can easily reflect light under the lamps, so I paid special attention to the smoothness of the legs before shooting, and the sitting pose also made it easier to showcase the character's lines. The waist features purple buttons and a green gem, while the chest has a purple bow. Along with the layered skirt and lace, there are many details, so it took quite a bit of effort to arrange everything when putting it on.

The weather was nice on the day of the shoot, but the outdoor ambient light was quite harsh. Therefore, for the second photo, I chose to shoot on a high stool, utilizing the architectural frame lines to add layers to the image while slightly dodging the overly strong direct sunlight, ensuring the translucency of the skin tone and costume colors. The hands-on-hips standing pose in the first photo looks a bit more lively, but considering the visual impact for a cover photo and the display effect of the legs, the second photo was a more suitable choice.

Wearing this outfit is actually not easy; platform shoes combined with white tights left my legs a bit freezing during the cold day shoot, and maintaining the drape of the long sleeves required constantly holding my arms in specific postures. To recreate the character's dignified yet slightly playful vibe, I controlled my expressions and gaze many times. During the shoot, I also had to smooth out the wig and adjust the skirt folds from time to time to prevent it from looking too messy. Since it was my first time trying to capture the essence of this character, I placed a lot of importance on controlling the details. For example, the green gem on the chest and the golden patterns on the skirt hem required finding the exact right angle in front of the camera to be fully showcased.

The main focus of this set of photos is to highlight the costume details in a clean and neat setting. The predominantly white color palette with purple accents, paired with the Silver hair and pointed Elf ears, gives it a very high visual recognition. During the on-site shoot, I also noticed that the wide sleeves easily cast shadows on the chest area, so we adjusted the light source positions to avoid these shadows, making the skin look softer. Although the overall process was tedious, when the complete effect was presented in front of the lens, this meticulous recreation of the character's elements made it all very meaningful.
