This time, I shot a Touhou Project Immoral duo cosplay photoshoot with my dear sister @寻灯 (@Xundeng); I've always loved the atmosphere of this pairing concept. The theme revolves around that forbidden red apple. To fit the dark Gothic Lolita tone, we prepared numerous details in our costumes and props. My red dress was paired with white Lace socks, while my sister wore black lace tights; this contrast of red, black, and white fits this series wonderfully. The biggest challenge during shooting was prop placement: holding the trident required careful attention to composition so the red prop wouldn't blend into and get lost against the red skirt. Holding the teddy bear plushie and the apple in her hands gave my sister plenty of opportunities for interactive posing. In front of the white marble pillars outdoors, the light was very harsh, so we used shadows to define silhouettes. Meanwhile, in the indoor marble hall, the floor reflections were stunning, allowing us to capture images with rich spatial depth using water reflections. To flatter our leg lines, we adjusted our center of gravity while standing, accentuating the high heels and the textures of the Lace socks. Everyone coordinated smoothly. Even though walking around in high heels and voluminous skirts was exhausting, seeing the final results made all the hard work feel completely worthwhile. We posed with the red apple repeatedly, trying various postures like single-handed holding and holding it together, ultimately delivering an atmosphere that is both mysterious and subtly playful.
