The traffic at Tsinghua's 100-Club Fair site was huge, and this time I participated in the club recruitment as a coser. Holding a makeup brush in hand was because I had just fixed some partial makeup peeling on my forehead and nose wings, and was candidly captured by a companion catching this touch-up moment. To maintain a good state under the strong light and crowded environment of the fair site, quite a few preparations were made in terms of makeup and styling details. Focusing on the top hat on my head: to increase the three-dimensional feel, the base used a stiff felt material, and the golden crisscross lines and blue diamond decorations on it were purely handmade by cutting and pasting, with the edges also hemmed to ensure it wouldn't easily snag other things when walking through crowds. The eye makeup part specially selected gold-brown contact lenses, paired with earth-toned eyeshadow for contour deepening, and light color brightening on the lower eyelid, plus custom false eyelashes, mainly to have clear eye contours even at a distance. The silver-gray wig was layered and trimmed, and the bangs used hair wax and setting spray to create a few outward-flipping strands, avoiding sticking completely to the face due to wind or bowing the head. The outer layer of the clothing is a crisp fabric with a waist-cinching design, paired with a white ruffled collar shirt inside, making the overall structural sense quite strong. Quite a few fellow students came over to say hello at the site, chatting about the plot and settings in Honkai: Star Rail, and many students were also very interested in the material of this outfit and wig styling, exchanging some experience in makeup and prop making with each other. This communication atmosphere was very comfortable; everyone was sharing the two-dimensional culture they love. When walking around the booth perimeter, to keep the clothes flat and the makeup intact, I casually held a brush ready to absorb oil and reapply loose powder at any time. Club recruitment continues, and fellow enthusiasts at the site are welcome to come over and chat anytime.
