[Golden Lion Cosplay] Azur Lane's White Tulle Elf and a Wonderful Moment Surrounded by Fufu Plushies

After nearly four hours of hard work in the studio, I finally finished filming this set of Azur Lane Golden Lion cosplay photos. I had been brainstorming how to capture Golden Lion's divine and ethereal feel while maintaining a grounded sense of warmth. Ultimately, I decided on a dim cave scene balanced with cute fufu plushies scattered across the floor to soften the overall cosplay atmosphere. Wearing this white tulle dress today convinced me I chose the right fabric—the sheer tulle drapes beautifully, while the inner white lace trim, subtle chest cutouts, and dangling metal chains create a natural, flowing sensation as I walk, radiating an ethereal charm without looking bulky at all.

The most time-consuming part of makeup and styling was actually setting the wig and elf ears cosplay details. The long blonde hair was braided into a thick braid that reached almost down to my calves; to prevent frizz, I specially treated the surface with spray before heading out. The custom pointed elf ears needed to fit my ear contours comfortably while remaining seamless from various camera angles. Fortunately, the edges blended naturally with my skin tone, and when combined with the cyan-blue winged halo effect added later, the ethereal elf aura was turned up to maximum.

We specifically chose a real-scene studio covered in mossy rocks for the photoshoot location. Instead of bright, direct lighting, the photographer used a beam of warm light from above to the side, highlighting my body contours and the texture of the white tulle dress against the dark background. What pleased me most was the chubby yellow plushie placed on a rock in the bottom left corner, alongside two small plush dolls in similar white dresses at the foreground edge. They looked like little guardian sprites protecting Golden Lion in a secret realm, adding plenty of playful charm that perfectly fit the "fufu plushies everywhere" vibe mentioned in the post.

Because the dress hem was quite long and there were many rocks underfoot on the shooting day, moving around really tested my stamina and balance. Maintaining a stable center of gravity while projecting a relaxed aura—arms stretched with one hand resting under my chin—took multiple angle confirmations with the photographer. But seeing the preview shots with the plush toys complementing my poses, along with the warm-and-cool contrast of the cyan-blue halo, made all the effort feel completely worth it. My biggest takeaway from this shoot is not to view cosplay as purely a rigid recreation; infusing cute, relatable elements like fufu plushies gives the work so much more warmth and soul.
