【Buro Cosplay】Medical Pink Little Devil Convention Photos from Muse Dash - Image 2

Looking through these Buro convention photos taken on-site at IJoy, the combination of medical cosplay and elf features creates a powerful visual effect. As one of the highly recognizable characters in Muse Dash, Buro's look has very distinct features in terms of color and material. For this shoot, we focused on her nurse outfit and fantasy setting, combining both large props and dynamic poses.

In terms of outfit texture, the most eye-catching part of this cosplay costume is the layer of silver reflective fabric. To fit the character's rebellious and playful temperament, the tailoring is form-fitting with a color-blocked contrast of pink and bright silver. The nurse hat headpiece is exquisitely made, with the pink heart pattern echoing the overall palette. I custom-ordered the pointed ears, which immediately gave an otherworldly fantasy feel once put on.

Regarding the set setup, in Figure 1 I utilized an electrocardiogram monitor and IV stand props. This prop set was specially prepared for these convention photos; the monitor screen on the pink casing actually displayed green wave lines, and the IV bag was filled with pink liquid, creating an overall medical cosplay theme atmosphere. The two small bats floating overhead served as the finishing touch in the frame, captured nimbly by the photographer to add a touch of mystery and playfulness.

Figure 2 is a cleaner, more casual candid shot without large props blocking, allowing a clearer view of the outfit's silhouette. The photo standing on one leg tested my core balance strength; making this pose in white over-the-knee boots while delivering a white thigh-highs outfit aesthetic on concrete ground was quite exhausting, but the resulting pose looked very graceful. The white long boots and gloves created large white color blocks, making the pink skirt pop in the frame. A scene free of extraneous elements better highlights character body language.

Actually, convention photos shot on-site at anime expos frequently face complex lighting issues. This time at the IJoy hall, the overhead ceiling lights were arranged neatly, creating a strong sense of spatial depth. During shooting, we specifically utilized the cold white light from high spotlights, which struck the silver reflective fabric to form lovely highlights, enhancing the outfit's techy and pop aesthetics. The lens aperture was kept wide open, blurring background venue lights into round bokeh spots so the character stood out from the messy exhibition background.

Speaking of Buro, her energetic yet dangerous vibe in Muse Dash has always attracted me deeply. When bringing her to life, I hoped not only to match her appearance closely, but also to express her confident and mischievous nature through posture and expressions. The half-side standing pose in Figure 1 carries a slight tsundere and in-control feel, while the one-legged balance pose in Figure 2 adds extra relaxed nonchalance.

From early preparation to final photos, this set required considerable time to adjust gear fit and assemble props. Wearing such high heels all day in the exhibition hall is physically demanding, but maintaining peak posture in front of the lens to maximize character aura is essential. While shooting, rhythmic scenes from the game kept playing in my head, making expressions more natural. Instead of forcing poses, movements were integrated into character personality.

I'm very satisfied with the final result, especially the visual contrast brought by the two compositional styles: one using rich props to build a dense anime atmosphere, and the other a minimal, direct dynamic capture. In post-processing, no over-the-top filters were forced; we mainly softened environmental lighting while highlighting the silver-white reflection of the outfit. I hope this dedication to Buro shines through these convention photos.
