Today at Worldline Comic Con D1, I wore the maid outfit for Azur Lane Cheshire Cosplay. This maid costume is packed with intricate details—the black and white skirt hem coupled with cascading layers of lace has a substantial weight when worn. To faithfully recreate the character's hairstyle, I wore a silver-gray short wig with bright cyan highlights, accessorized with a black-and-white cat-ear headband and white lace hairpieces. To align with the character's feline personality, I used vivid blue contact lenses and accentuated my blush for an extra lively touch, completing the look with white lace gloves and a custom name badge pinned to my chest.

While searching for shooting spots inside the venue, I found a setting that matched this outfit exceptionally well. Initially, I sat on a deep purple vintage sofa with a gold-bordered frame. The sofa had a wonderful texture, so I posed while holding a teacup; while seated, it was essential to mind the fluffiness of the skirt, and angling my body slightly better showcased the garment's layering and waistline. Later, we moved over to the wooden wine barrel area, which offered much more of a tavern atmosphere than the sofa. I switched to sitting atop a wine barrel holding a wooden mug—a pose requiring me to lower my center of gravity slightly while propping myself up with the other hand against the barrel surface. As the lights struck the wooden barrel and the cellar walls, the warm-toned ambience made the black-and-white maid dress stand out vividly, while the over-the-knee White tights cosplay and leg contours provided a graceful visual extension within the composition.

During a break between shots, a photographer handed me a small chalkboard that read "NEW ARRIVE." I naturally leaned over the top of the chalkboard, crossing my hands and resting my chin on the back of my hands, letting the camera capture several close-ups. This pose worked wonderfully to bring out the playful side of the maid persona. Afterward, at the vintage desk area, I also leaned against the desk for a few shots beside an old-fashioned telephone and books, tilting my head or resting flat across the tabletop. Although moving around in this costume was somewhat restrictive—especially since the neckline and lace required constant tidying—looking at the final shots on the camera screen made all the upfront preparation and same-day makeup adjustments feel completely worthwhile.

When doing outdoor or convention shoots, what I pay closest attention to is coordinating costume proportions with shooting angles. Since this maid dress features cross-lacing across the apron and waist, keeping the fabric smooth when sitting or leaning over is critical to avoid bunching that detracts from the overall aesthetics. The White tights cosplay paired with this dress offers a very crisp, clean visual effect, though care is needed in convention environments to keep them clean. Communication with the photographer went smoothly as well; for instance, black-and-white garments set against darker backgrounds require proper fill lighting to bring out the delicate texture of the lace.

Although the entire day of the convention was physically exhausting, meeting so many fellow Azur Lane fans and interacting with everyone was deeply fulfilling. The essence of Maid Supremacism is brought to life vividly through Cheshire. I hope this photo set showcases the character's traits, and I look forward to experimenting with more diverse cosplay styles in the future.
