This set of photos for Little Cheshire Ver01 is mainly toned based on a daily sense of healing. Now let's chat about the details before and after this shoot in detail.

This time, silver-grey short hair was chosen as the base color, paired with that eye-catching cyan-blue highlight, directly grabbing the character's visual features in terms of color. For the eye makeup, lake-blue colored contacts of the same color palette were selected, paired with a wash of light orange eyeshadow, trying to recreate the character's well-behaved yet agile temperament in front of the lens. This blue-and-white maid outfit cosplay dress is the centerpiece of the styling; the white ruffles on the top and skirt hem combined with deep blue lace trim provide a rich sense of layering. Especially that oversized bow on the head, plus the draping white veil and gold trim embellishments, carries a heavy visual weight, requiring constant micro-adjustments during shooting to guarantee the integrity of the styling.

During the shooting process, we used an α7 IV paired with an 85GM lens. The focal length of this lens exhibited excellent compression in indoor studio shoots, allowing the subject and the background to be cleanly separated, beautifully highlighting the main subject of the frame. This combination of A7M4 and 85GM can not only clearly display the fine texture of the headpiece lace but also form soft and beautiful light spots in the background, vastly improving the translucent feel of the overall frame. The on-site lighting for this photo set did not adopt extremely intense hard light, but instead used large softboxes as the primary light, paired with a weakened side-backlight, outlining the contours of the hair and the edges of the clothing lace, creating a clean and soft creamy texture.

A bit of thought was also put into the selection of props, particularly the yellow duck plush toy held up in Figure 3, which is actually a great helper for cosplayers to relax their state in front of the lens. When holding such a cute-shaped, bright-colored item in hand, my expression and limbs will very naturally loosen up, allowing the frame to present a more life-like, intimate, and cute state. At the same time, there is also that bunch of white bouquets in this styling set, which can present two entirely different contexts under different compositions. The cooperation of props indeed enriches the expression of the entire set of photos.

In post-processing, it mainly unified the overall color tone, removing overly cluttered colors in the background to keep the frame within a soft, clear, and translucent color palette. The black lace details and the texture of the golden accessories on the costume were also enhanced in post-processing, making them neither too eye-catching nor failing to blend nicely into the overall styling.

Although the heavy weight of the cascading headpiece and skirt hem indeed brought quite a few challenges to the shoot, precisely because of this, the gorgeous and exquisite visual feel in the final static photos appears particularly precious. Every time conducting this kind of large-accessory cosplay shoot, it is a test of physical strength and patience, but being able to present such a clean and healing frame in the end truly brings a great sense of accomplishment. Through exquisite makeup/styling and appropriate photographic cooperation, the daily atmosphere we want to convey has naturally flowed out amidst this interweaving of light and shadow via this piece of Anime-style photography.
