[Hatsune Miku cosplay] Halloween Little Zombie in the Rabbit Hole

The theme for this shoot was Hatsune Miku's Rabbit Hole Little Zombie concept. From makeup testing to the final stills took about a week of preparation, with most of the time invested in tailoring wardrobe details and styling the wig. The wig features wavy curls with a blue-to-pink gradient, where blending the pink tips smoothly into the ice-blue crown proved trickier than expected, requiring careful teasing with a comb before hairspraying it into place. The shape of the official-style mandarin cap headdress was quite exacting; it had to be anchored securely to avoid shifting, while the golden sphere atop added a regal air that sparked a wonderfully cute contrast with the zombie motif.

The wardrobe centered on a modified cheongsam minidress in deep navy, bordered with metallic gold piping for premium texture, while golden flared sleevelets and armbands added dimensional layering. Selecting the Black stockings took considerable deliberation to ensure a misty, sheer translucence under cool light without appearing tacky. Paired with black patent leather stilettos, it beautifully elongated the leg silhouette. In the studio, cool-white overhead tube lights cascaded downward against dark ambient surroundings, naturally making the subject pop. The photographer aimed for a spirited yet enigmatic aura. Photo 1, seated atop a black barstool with crossed legs, was deceptively difficult to balance: because the hemline was short, highlighting fluid leg curves while keeping the back straight took dozens of frames to achieve an effortless posture. The single-leg standing pose in Photo 2 demanded serious core balance to stay steady. Sitting across the white rug holding a talisman and exploring side-lying poses served primarily to showcase the paper talisman prop's tactile quality.

Walking across the highly reflective studio floor in stilettos produced crisp, echoing clicks with every step. Cycling through this demanding posture set left my leg muscles tight and aching, but seeing the preview screens reveal that spooky, vibrant Halloween contrast made every bit of fatigue worthwhile. Immense gratitude goes to the photographer for mastering lighting and framing, capturing the garment's subtle sheen and leg contours to perfection.
