This time at the CICF Expo, I finally cosplayed the twins from Final Fantasy XIV together with @Mumuzai—I played Alisaie and he played Alphinaud. We kept being recognized by fellow enthusiasts from the moment we entered, and the convention atmosphere was truly wonderful. Let's talk first about the makeup and styling preparation for Alisaie this time. The outfit I wore is mainly beige and gray, with a very form-fitting outer layer. Those silver diamond-shaped rivet decorations on the chest are the highlight of this clothes, and the metallic texture looks very sharp under the venue's lights. The collar of the inner gray long sleeve stands up just right without choking the neck. My brother Alphinaud's outfit features a dark blue coat paired with a white shirt, complete with gold badges on the chest, silver metal chains on the shoulders, and shoulder guards. He held that prop staff in his hand, with a golden frame and red gems, making it quite heavy in hand and very imposing when swung. To match the Elzen setting, the white wig on my head was deliberately fluffed up, and the ahoge on top was repeatedly adjusted with styling spray and hair wax to restore that natural feel of blowing in the wind. Coupled with the pointy elf ear accessories, blue contact lenses, and deepened blush at the eye corners, the whole makeup pursues a clean and translucent convention feel, striving to restore the twin's elven temperament. Standing together, the two of us finally had the tacit understanding of twins.

The highlight of this shoot was actually the memes in pictures 3 and 4. To restore that funny scene of a black cat and a white cat covering each other's mouths, we designed many actions. Picture 3 is me reaching out to block my brother's face, and he cooperated with me to make a mouth-covered expression, with the caption "The lethativity isn't enough, let me speak." During shooting, to avoid hands blocking too much of the lens, we tried several angles; initially, my hand was placed too far forward and covered his eyes, and only after adjusting the height did we achieve the effect. Picture 4 swaps identities: my brother puts on white gloves to cover my mouth, accompanied by the text "We are very sorry." Because we were wearing hard prop gloves, controlling the force also became a challenge, and we shot it several times before capturing that funny yet helpless expression. There were many onlookers on-site, and seeing us shoot such hypnotic memes, everyone couldn't help laughing out loud, and some photographers even came over specifically to snap this moment.

Actually, cosplaying a Twins cosplay combination is quite tiring. Not only do you have to consider your own styling, but you also have to constantly pay attention to the other person's posture to maintain synchronization of both movements. As we walked back and forth in the venue, quite a few photographers came over to snap pictures. Although this outfit is not revealing, the heavy props and wigs are still very challenging in a crowded environment like a convention, and shoulders get sore after wearing them for a long time. However, being able to perfectly restore Alisaie and Alphinaud and seeing the final photos made everything worth it. We also met some interesting fellow enthusiasts in the venue, exchanging insights on prop-making and convention photography skills. The overall tones and textures, coupled with the on-site lighting coordination, made the photo output exceed expectations. The convention venue's layout is very rich, and various booths and backdrop boards provided us with a great shooting environment. We shot many satisfying photos this time, also tried creative memes, and the experience of wandering the convention with my brother was extremely fulfilling. Looking forward to bringing more good works next time.
