Shooting this Barbara look today was primarily about capturing a relaxed yet energetic cozy home vibe. The sailor-style outfit in a blue-and-white palette, coupled with her iconic light-blonde twin-tail wig, looks remarkably fresh overall. The classic sailor collar and off-the-shoulder design beautifully highlight the shoulder contours, while the large blue bow on the chest serves as the visual centerpiece. Complemented by a diagonal waist strap and a small book accessory, it thoroughly manifests the character's healing aura.

What I really want to talk about this time is these White tights. Upon wearing this ensemble, whether sitting or standing, the texture of the white tights imparts a cleaner and purer feel to the overall aesthetic. In the standing posture of image 2, a natural hand gesture and a slight forward tilt of the upper body clearly show the elongated silhouette created by combining the blue-and-white ruffles of the skirt with the White tights—this color block contrast is exceptionally eye-catching. While white as a dominant color can be tricky to carry off without looking bulky, this outfit features excellent tailoring proportions; together with high-elasticity fabric, it gracefully outlines natural leg curves instead.

As for visual composition, I specifically chose the full-length mirror at home. In image 1, sitting cross-legged on the floor barefoot with a peace sign creates a casual, intimate feel. I also adjusted the makeup: to match the softness of the pale gold wig, eye makeup remained light rather than heavily saturated, pursuing a clean, dew-fresh look. Especially paired with the twin-tails, the side curls frame the face nicely, giving a gentle, girl-next-door impression. When cosplaying Genshin Impact characters, I always try to preserve their canon design while blending in a touch of my personal interpretation.

The overall costume texture is incredibly rich—golden cross emblems on the skirt, lace-up details on the back, and double-layered cuffs are all highlights worth magnifying. Though it was an indoor selfie shoot, I've always felt grand location setups aren't mandatory for great cosplay works. As long as lighting is soft, background clean, and mirror distortion controlled, high-quality moments can be captured easily. For image 2's standing pose, I shifted my weight onto one leg while extending the other forward slightly to create linear extension, which made the skirt look fluffier while preventing a stiff flat look.

In fact, angles and poses were adjusted repeatedly during the shoot. Poses like standing on one foot in image 3 required holding balance while managing mirror composition, succeeding only after several snapshots. This trial-and-error process makes home mirror selfies so fun. No need to be tense—take your time finding angles, as spontaneous snapshots often turn out far more natural than forced poses.

In game, Barbara has always been a character who heals everyone through her song. I hope this set of photos conveys that same warm, cheerful feeling. The combination of white, blue, and gold is visually vibrant, making one feel lighter and brighter just wearing it. Without overcomplicated backgrounds or flashy VFX, keeping things authentic and natural is the best approach to capturing this type of casual cosplay.
