This time, I cosplayed Tairitsu from Arcaea. As an avid rhythm game fan, I've long wanted to personify this character who embodies rhythmic edge and cool detachment. I snapped quite a few shots in front of the mirror, ultimately selecting these frames perched on a chair because the lighting fell most flatteringly across the Black stockings and platform shoes.

In terms of styling, this long straight black wig was cut with neat bangs and high-tier layering, which, paired with the blue hair ornaments on both sides, beautifully contoured my face in mirror reflections. The outfit's structure is remarkably intricate: the outerwear features black-and-blue long sleeves flared into dramatic bell cuffs trimmed with bright cyan borders. The shoulders incorporate pink ruffled accents for color contrast, echoing the golden ribbon bow at the chest. The waist cut is tailored snugly, yielding a three-tiered skirt beneath: the top tier features bright blue pinstripes and pink scalloped edging, the middle forms the deep blue main silhouette, and the base peeks out with black lace borders. Dainty golden charms dangle from the hemline, clinking softly as I move. For the lower half, opaque Black stockings are paired with buckled black platform shoes, lending the dark aesthetic a combat-ready sharpness.

During shooting, the room had only standard ceiling lighting against a plain white wall and a pink-and-purple circular rug on the floor. With background clutter like a blue drop cloth on the right and a wooden desk on the left, I constantly dialed in the framing. Posing with one foot on the white swivel chair tested my core stability; to keep the multi-layered skirt from looking bulky, I anchored my weight on one leg while extending the other forward, which visually elongated my leg lines and showcased the smooth texture of the black stockings. For hand poses, cycling from smoothing my hair to reaching toward the camera captured several organic takes.

Because she's an Arcaea rhythm game cosplay character, I deliberately chased an aura of aloof distance in my body language. Although a Mirror selfie lacks the cinematic scale of an outdoor set, the crisp reflections in the glass coupled with these sharply structured garments naturally drew out that decisive edge. The makeup was deepened to harmonize with the attire, focusing heavily on eye contours. Posing in this ensemble for extended periods was tiring—the shoes carry height, and the long wig demanded constant grooming. Yet seeing the final image in the mirror made every adjustment worthwhile, delivering a satisfying milestone record for this Tairitsu cosplay.
