Shooting Remielle Ramiel (Remielle Ramiel cosplay) from Zenless Zone Zero (Zenless Zone Zero) involved an immense amount of overall styling detail. The wig was pre-styled using a flat iron; to recreate that voluminous yet subtly tousled pink bob, hair wax had to be applied sparingly to prevent harsh specular glare under bright studio lights. To harmonize with the contacts, the eye makeup accentuated outer contour depth for a piercing, luminous gaze that captured the character's signature aloof chill, supported by purplish-red eyeshadow tones.
The wardrobe required the most dedication. Layering the sheer black tulle top beneath a high-gloss cinched corset demanded numerous hidden anchors inside to sculpt a taut silhouette without visual bulk, as any misalignment in the zippers or metallic clasps would instantly cause unsightly creases. The white five-pointed star motifs on the deep navy mini-skirt caught the light with delicate shimmer, creating eye-catching focal points. The trickiest puzzle lay in the thigh rings and stockings. Achieving the right texture with semi-sheer Black stockings (Black stockings) is notoriously unforgiving—any minor snag or skin indentation becomes glaringly magnified on camera. I selected a micro-compression knit and took meticulous care when seated to arrange the metallic chain drops and star charms so they hung naturally without rolling or digging into the skin, while the pointed stiletto heels elongated the calf contours into smooth, slender lines.
The oversized wings strapped to my back were a genuine physical workout: richly layered with real feathers, they carried substantial weight. Alongside the loose feathers scattered across the floor, every repositioning had to be cautious to avoid crushing the plumage. Because the wings were heavy, keeping the core engaged with an upright spine was essential to prevent slumping shoulders and maintain her commanding aura. Throughout the shoot, I held a cool, slightly detached gaze while keeping limb extensions fluid. Seated sideways on the rectangular plinth, extending one leg straight while planting the other lightly bent visually lengthened leg proportions, allowing the matte finish of the Black stockings (Black stockings) and the garment's multi-tiered textures to emerge with striking clarity.
Photographer Qin Yangliu truly mastered the angles: pairing a minimalist gray-white backdrop with diffused softbox lighting captured the patent leather reflections and subtle jacquard patterns of the tulle with crisp fidelity. The dark feathers scattered on the floor forged a striking tonal contrast against the pale ground, instantly evoking a dark, delicately fragile atmosphere. To embody her sharp yet enigmatic persona, every arm raise and tilted head angle was dialed in through repeated adjustments. Seeing the finished stills was deeply satisfying, fulfilling every expectation for lighting nuances and tactile authenticity.
