[Komeiji Koishi cosplay] Blurred Moments and Floral Sea Convention Photos at Wenzhou THO02 - Image 2

These Convention photos from Wenzhou THO02 captured a sort of \"dazed\" state at the time, which happened to fit perfectly with the gentle sea of flowers in the background and the relaxed feel of the overall look. Photographer @nobody-leoches-better-than-me captured it with great precision, freezing that moment of detachment from the noise of the convention floor.

Let's talk about the wig first. Under the warm-toned convention lighting, the mint green color presents a very translucent texture. To match the character's short hair traits, I didn't trim it too heavily, retaining airy bangs and slightly curled tips instead. Combined with the black mini top hat adorned with red roses, the head section gained great visual weight. The red roses on the hat brim were secured with hot glue and thin wire so they stayed at an appropriate angle relative to the wig strands without pressing onto the top of my head when tilting down.

I put a lot of effort into putting together the costume for this photoset. The off-white top features jacquard-patterned fabric with puffy lantern sleeves at the cuffs edged with black lace for rich layering. The large lapel collar and central green diamond ornament visually balance cold and warm tones. The key highlight lies in trunk accessories: the purple spherical pendant needed to be secured right in the center, matching the original lore setting wonderfully. Meanwhile, the blue-black braided cords and green vines wrapped around my waist required bit-by-bit adjustments after getting dressed so the vines draped naturally along the waistline without falling off while walking.

The green pleated skirt on the lower body serves as the visual gravity center of this styling, with gold line trims keeping it from looking plain. The black lining lace exposed at the bottommost layer echoes the dark-toned accessories overall. To highlight visual leg effects in this Black stockings cosplay presentation, I paired it with black tights. Coordinated with the vines and blue hanging ornaments, these black tights satisfied the character's dark-tone requirements while making the attire look much sleek and sharp.

During early styling confirmation, I communicated with the photographer about wanting a lazy, detached vibe, as Komeiji Koishi cosplay inherently carries an elusive, mysterious aura in Touhou Project. Background light pink and peach artificial rose florals stacked into wonderful foreground depth. Sitting on black-and-white checkered floor tiles, I didn't need big movements—simply emptying my gaze naturally or slightly lowering my head to adjust vines on my knees. Photo 1 was chosen as the cover because the body tilt angle perfectly showcased the costume's full structure; the green skirt hem spread over black-and-white tiles looked striking, while black stockings interwoven with vines created great visual tension, keeping my face and body centered without oppressive edge-cropping.

At a Touhou-only convention like Wenzhou THO, cosplaying a Touhou Project character always brings a wonderful sense of belonging. Fellow fans on site understood character details deeply, and the atmosphere that day was exceptionally warm as everyone earnestly helped verify each other's gear. Looking back at these Convention photos, I can feel that relaxing sense of snatching a quiet moment of leisure amidst a bustling convention.

Because the photographer managed framing and lens focal length masterfully, the blurred flower wall lent a very soft, gentle ambiance to the whole picture. I intentionally avoided overly exaggerated poses; instead, this quiet state accompanied by a natural gaze shift fit the character's \"dazed\" setting perfectly. During shooting, I constantly readjusted vine positions fixed to the stockings to prevent them from slipping down during movement and ruining styling cohesion, but thankfully the final photos achieved all expected results.
