Just got back to the hotel from the site of the Azur Lane 2026 Naval Port Midsummer Cool Festival, and taking advantage of the fact that my makeup hasn't completely faded yet, I'm rushing to post the anime convention cosplay photos for today's styling. The outfit I wore today is a cool summer outfit that I personally love very much. To fit the theme of the Naval Port Midsummer, I chose a white sheer long-sleeved top, layered with a black halter bikini underneath, and tight black leather shorts on the lower body. This collision of materials—soft tulle and stiff leather—produces a very different reflective effect under the on-site lighting. The black laced bow on the top is a great visual guidance point, which can both flatter the chest shape and highlight the waistline.

The prop this time is a pink-and-white toy water gun. Don't underestimate it as a prop; when making movements, holding it in hand still has some weight. Before the shoot, I deliberately tried a few gun-raising poses, and finally found that holding it high above the head with one hand, or holding the water gun sideways, can effectively extend the limb lines of the whole body. A purple wig is actually very difficult to manage under strong light and easily looks frizzy, so in the morning I applied quite a bit of hair care oil to the ends of the hair, and tried to leave some fluffiness when braiding, avoiding making it stick too close to the scalp.

The waistline of this cool summer outfit is extremely high. The cut of the leather shorts is relatively fitted, coupled with the irregular cut of the top being shorter in front and longer in back, which visually lengthens the legs significantly. Since it's a midsummer theme, overall skin tone appears very important. On stage, the contrast between top light and front light will eat away some of the three-dimensionality, so I applied quite a bit of body highlighter on my collarbones and shoulders today, making the skin texture look more translucent when moving. In this scene, not wearing stockings fits the setting of a summer beach even better, and high-heeled sandals with transparent uppers further lengthened the leg lines.

After arriving at the site, I found the atmosphere to be truly super amazing, with elements of summer beaches everywhere, and even inflatable toys and beach umbrellas. When shooting in the studio area, the combination of beach chairs and beach umbrellas made me feel like I was truly on vacation. Leaning under a beach umbrella, or holding a water gun to interact with the lens, my state became increasingly relaxed. With every gesture, I could hear the sound of the shutter from off-stage or the photographer, and this feeling is exceptionally fulfilling.

When I was watching the playback just now, I found that the gazes in picture one and picture two set against the water gun photoshoot were very on point. Picture three is in the studio area, where the light and shadow are softer, making the person look relatively well-behaved. Actually, when doing this kind of summer-themed cosplay, the biggest worry is that the movements are too stiff, because the clothes themselves show off the figure quite a bit; if the movements are restrained, it will look very strange. So I tried my best to keep myself in a relaxed yet slightly playful state. Has the Commander been watching me properly~ Every piece of feedback from your gazes is the biggest motivation for me to maintain a great state on stage. I hope everyone likes this Naval Port Midsummer style, and I'm also looking forward to bringing more different visual presentations next.
