[Remielle cosplay] Remielle from Zenless Zone Zero: Photoshoot Notes on White Tights and Feathered Wings

The photo return for Remielle's white-winged look from Zenless Zone Zero is fully organized, and I'd love to share the shooting process in front of the glass curtain wall at Firefly ACG Expo. For hair and makeup, to capture her cool, detached aura, I chose light blue contact lenses paired with a short pink wig and pointed elf ears. Eye makeup prioritized dimensional depth and crisp outer-corner wings, avoiding heavy glitter to maintain an immaculate, restrained finish. The outfit featured a white dress with detached sleeves; the paramount hurdle was the set of white feathered wings on my back. The wings were heavy and took considerable time to anchor, requiring careful balance while walking. The two long blue-purple ribbons trailing from the skirt hem served as visual anchors, yet tangled easily during movement, demanding precise manual positioning for each pose.

We picked a spot outside the expo hall framed by louvered glass curtain walls. This monochromatic industrial backdrop complemented the white gown seamlessly. The lighting that day was softly diffused. To create a crisp, high-key, cool visual aesthetic, the photographer used a wide-angle lens from a low upward angle. Shooting from below lengthened the legs and skirt while capturing the expansive span of the wings. To accentuate the elongated lines of my Cosplay white tights before the lens, I deliberately adjusted my center of gravity—adopting a staggered stance or slightly bending one knee to elongate proportions. Hand gestures were equally deliberate: either raising the sleeves to reveal back details or using the translucent sleeve fabric to filter direct light, enriching visual texture. The crisscross strapping across the white bodice was a key highlight, requiring careful arm positioning so it wouldn't be obscured. Post-processing focused on a cool-white skin grade, accentuating the translucent luminescence of the white feathers and stockings while deepening background seam shadows to heighten the airy atmosphere. Capturing a clean frame during peak convention hours with massive foot traffic wasn't easy, but the harmony of lighting and posing fulfilled our creative vision beautifully.
