[Kallen cosplay] Valentine's Day Judgment in the Red and White Rose Bushes

The theme of the Day of Final Judgment was set to be shot in a rose garden. After discussing with photographer Wan Sheng, we decided to use cool cyan-blue tones to complement the red-and-white contrast. For this Kallen cosplay styling, White hair was paired with a red beret and a red dress; without overly revealing elements, curves were mainly accentuated through the garment's tailoring. The shoot took place on Valentine's Day, and the Rose blooms were in prime condition. To preserve the character's disposition while showcasing visual allure in the photos, we put considerable thought into pose design.

The first close-up drew viewers in through direct eye contact, while in the second shot, I turned slightly sideways and extended a crimson Rose toward the lens, which better showcased body lines and created an intriguing contrast with a slightly aloof expression. Photographer Wan Sheng is skilled at utilizing shallow depth of field; the foreground-blurred foliage gave the composition rich depth and texture. Additionally, since this outfit did not feature stockings, leg presentation wasn't the main focus; to showcase elegance, we emphasized chest and waistline contours during shooting.

There were several tricky aspects during the shoot—such as grooming the White hair to avoid excessive puffiness that might obstruct sightlines, and coordinating standing positions among the red roses so the red blooms harmonized with the costume color. During post-processing, we repeatedly adjusted cool-toned shadows and red highlight saturation, aiming to convey that slightly tragic atmosphere of the Day of Judgment in Fate/Grand Order. Although the shoot was rather tiring, all the photo sets and creative concepts were realized. As a labor of love, I hope to share this with everyone on social platforms.
