[Klee Cosplay] Genshin Impact Christmas Eve Log

This Christmas Eve themed cosplay photoshoot was completed in a studio filled with fantastical forest scenery. The red-and-white Klee Blossoming Starlight outfit paired with a huge witch hat aims to present a warm and vibrant holiday image.

In terms of hair and makeup, the wig's curves were specially trimmed to make the hair ends on both sides naturally fluffy, which, combined with the signature red eyes and elf ears, added a playful touch. The makeup primarily featured orange-red eyeshadow while emphasizing distinct, well-defined eyelashes, making the gaze appear brighter and more spirited under the warm yellow lighting. Special thanks to Instructor Xiaoluo for their incredible skill; every single detail was handled with pristine neatness.

The main body of the costume adopted the classic red-and-white patchwork, embellished with dark brown leather straps and bow ties as accents. The ruffled design of the skirt hem gave the overall look a great sense of layering, and with the pinecones, red ribbons, and plush mini-toys on the wreath prop, the character's designated trait of being 'lively' received concrete visual support. The wide brim of the hat posed a bit of a challenge for shooting angles, but through clever lighting, the light and shadow formed a beautifully structured sense of depth beneath the brim.

The set was arranged with moss-covered tree trunks and dense ferns, which, combined with the scattered four-leaf clover lighting effects and starry string lights, created a mystical elf-like atmosphere. During the shooting process, I balanced the volume of the props by changing the extent of my limb extensions; for example, large-scale hand-raising movements not only broke the heaviness in the center of the frame but also allowed the lines of the thigh-high socks and skirt hem to extend.

The overall color grading in post-processing leaned toward warm orange tones, intentionally darkening the surroundings to highlight the character as the main subject. Combined with scattered bokeh special effects, it enhanced the romantic and healing atmosphere of Christmas Eve. The sheen in the final photos paired with the red-and-green color-clashing palette delivered a strong sense of ritual unique to a Christmas cosplay.

This shoot was a recreation attempt aimed at enriching the worldview setting based on the character's traits. The Christmas elements and the character's own attributes had a high level of synergy, allowing me to experience the process of integrating a holiday atmosphere into character charm. The meaning of Christmas Eve lies not only in the ritual itself but more importantly in this visual transmission of warmth.
