I shot this set of Keqing cosplay photos today. Honestly, compared to wearing full gear to outdoor locations, these mirror selfies at home feel much more relaxed and comfortable. The coordination and details of the entire outfit slowly came to life in front of the lens.

Let's talk about the outfit first. When I first got my hands on it, the most stunning part was the fabric and color scheme. To be honest, wearing such a long wig with buns is always a test for the cervical spine, and my scalp felt a bit numb from being tightly bound by the wig net. Once the wig is off, although my hair returns to pure black, the eye makeup and contact lenses remain, instantly transitioning my vibe from the 2D world into a more daily, slice-of-life look, which is quite interesting.

In Image 1, for example, I tilted the phone slightly to expose my eyes. Although I was mainly shooting a full-body view, my eyes could still interact with the camera. If you're shooting pure selfies with a phone's front camera, a soft-light environment is critical, otherwise harsh shadows will easily fall across your face.

In this process, the costume, wig, makeup, expressions, and atmosphere are all indispensable. Although today I simply laid a white plush rug on the wooden floor to serve as a base without setting up a complex background, this actually emphasized the character's state and the delicacy of the costume.
