[Laffey cosplay] Azur Lane white veil and bunny ears, a dual-scene record of cherry blossom outdoor scenes and white studio portraits

This time shooting Laffey's white veil and bunny ears styling from Azur Lane, I prepared for quite a long time. From costume matching to wig styling, every detail had to fit the set atmosphere. The biggest highlight of this outfit lies in its layering; the fluffy white tulle skirt is paired with a dark blue bow and belt, plus the bunny ears and blue small flower hair accessories on top, giving the overall visual effect a very light feel. To ensure shooting quality, I arranged two completely different environments: a cherry blossom outdoor scene and a white studio portrait. During the white studio portrait shoot, we focused on highlighting the texture and details of the clothing. Because the background is clean and pure, the lighting can fully focus on the subject, so I paid great attention to the extension of my limbs, especially the display of leg lines wearing white stockings. With the dislocation of a high stool, great visual proportions can be captured. After moving to the cherry blossom outdoor scene, the atmosphere was completely different. The outdoor natural soft light combined with pink and white cherry blossoms all over the tree added a lot of romantic ambiance to the frame. However, outdoor shooting requires constant attention to lighting direction; to avoid strong light-and-dark contrast, we tried to choose diffused light time slots, matching a large aperture to blur the background, allowing the bokeh to present a very beautiful color transition. The feeling captured in the two scenes contrasts greatly—the self in the white studio portrait is cool and exquisite, while the self under the cherry blossom tree has a bit more softness and liveliness. The shooting process was actually quite tiring, especially the outdoor part which required carrying props and costumes, and constantly minding the wig styling not to be messed up by the wind, but seeing the final result, everything was totally worthwhile. I really enjoyed this creative process of combining flat composition with a three-dimensional sea of flowers, and I hope to use this set of photos to record the character's best state, showcasing the unique temperament matched by the white tulle skirt and bunny ears.
