Working as an event staffer at GuangKao today, this school uniform coordinate for Shinonome Ena from Project Sekai was as authentic as it gets. A crisp white button-down shirt paired with a deep brown bow tie accented by white stripes, combined with a blue pleated plaid skirt and a green staff lanyard holding my credentials around my neck. The wig is an ash-toned brown; to recreate the side braid on the left, I tied off a delicate white ribbon bow, lightly curving the blunt bangs with a curling wand. Paired with warm brown contact lenses and subtly elongated wing eyeliner, the facial makeup held up crisply even under harsh convention lights.

As a worker grinding away on duty, my primary tasks were crowd control and queue navigation. While the outfit looks sweet and well-mannered, running back and forth all day definitely left the shirt slightly wrinkled. Fortunately, the event energy was electric, and I bumped into countless fellow Project Sekai enthusiasts. Spotting a booth giving out kitty stickers, I gave the secret password and successfully claimed one, while exchanging assorted fan merch with several friends. That tangible offline community spirit is truly unmatched—it's not merely collecting merch, but appreciating all the detail-oriented cosplay craft in person.

Cosplaying Shinonome Ena hinges on capturing that distinct, slightly tsundere yet deeply earnest aura; whether standing post or speaking with attendees, I maintained a subtle, focused tension in posture and expression. I snapped joint photos with several attendees who were all wonderfully friendly; despite convention lighting rarely being optimal, the candid shots still captured the authentic texture of the cotton shirt nicely.

By late afternoon, my legs were aching, and whenever I sat down to catch my breath, I had to keep the pleats of the blue plaid skirt neatly smoothed out. Still, looking at the traded goods and stickers in hand made the grueling shift worthwhile. After wearing the wig cap all day, my forehead had a slight red pressure ring, so I'll need to give the wig proper TLC once home—especially the delicate temple braid—to keep this level of fidelity intact for the next run.
