[Remielle Ramiel cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero: Solitary Flight Beneath Dark Wings

"Extinguish the applause with this ray of light; I no longer belong to this era—I was meant to fly alone into the abyss." This line resonates seamlessly with the presence Remielle Ramiel seeks to embody. Preparing this Zenless Zone Zero cosplay, my focus centered on projecting her aloof resolve and cold solitude through still photography.

The wardrobe layers are far more intricate than they appear at first glance. The sheer mesh bodice and corset demanded meticulous layer-by-layer alignment, while the colossal wings on my back were undeniably the most demanding prop of the entire shoot. To make the purplish-pink ocular sigils across the plumage cast an eerie glow, we conducted extensive lighting tests inside and out; the wing frame was wrapped in slightly reflective fabric that cast cold, metallic glints against the neutral gray cyclorama. Scattered black feathers floating through the depth of field also introduced dynamic motion to the frames.

The wig styling and makeup underwent constant refinement. The short pink tresses were trimmed into textured wisps, with hair accessories pinned precisely at visual symmetry points. The eye makeup heavily utilized pink-and-purple tones paired with cosmetic contacts to deepen the ocular gaze, ensuring a piercing, cold intensity held up even in tight close-ups. The prop longsword packed a vibrant purple glow effect; sync-locking the swirling smoke plumes generated by swings with the studio strobe durations challenged both myself and photographer @秦杨柳. To accentuate leg lines, I specifically selected Black stockings adorned with star charms alongside lace-up high heels, pointing my toes to lengthen my silhouette during levitation poses.

Suspension and levitation postures formed the heart of this shoot. To evoke weightless detachment from the earthly ground, I relied on core engagement to balance my center of gravity while flaring the heavy wings to sustain dramatic visual tension. Movement readily shifted the star charms and garter straps, requiring resets between takes. Framing ranged across full-body mid-air suspension, close-ups, and seated stances to explore varied emotional layers. The minimalist gray backdrop paired with drifting black feathers locked the entire set into a cool-toned aesthetic.

Wrapping a session centered around massive physical props always tests endurance and patience. Repositioning endlessly under the hot lights to dial in specular reflections until achieving this Dark Gothic visual suite was rigorous, yet translating my interpretation of the character into garments, props, and physical form before the lens made the journey deeply fulfilling.
