This set of Lynette's outdoor cosplay photoshoot was taken in a vintage European corridor. When first choosing the location, I was drawn to the combination of the black-and-white checkerboard floor and the red-toned ceiling. Rather than simply replicating the in-game model, I always feel that a real-world environment with subtle traces of time can better bring out her aloof yet quiet magician temperament. The lighting on the day of the shoot was exceptionally clear. High-saturation natural light hit the blue puffy skirt, supplemented by the shallow reflections from the glass windows, making the silver patterns and ruffles on the surface of the outfit present an excellent texture. Therefore, we decided to make this entire set straight-out-of-camera raw shots, with no need for additional post-processing to touch up light and shadow.

For the makeup, I intentionally softened the contours of the eye makeup. The purple colored contacts, paired with the iconic black star mark under her eye and the mint green highlights at the ends of her hair, visually align closer with the character's agile charm. The wig was also given a special fluffy treatment. The cat ears on top and the beret are custom-matched, with the blue vertical stripes and metal buckles on the surface perfectly fitting her setting as a magic assistant in Genshin Impact. The pattern of the outfit combines the fluffiness of Lolita with the mobility of daily wear, making it a wonderful piece of anime-style fashion where the waist cinching and the layering of the skirt hem are executed perfectly. The combination of black tights and platform loafers not only flatters the leg shape but is also highly stable during actual walking and shooting, allowing the cat tail behind me to sway naturally when running.

There were many interesting interactions during the shooting process, such as half-hiding behind the red fabric curtains to peek out with half my face, or pretending to adjust my collar in front of a carved wooden-framed mirror. The photographer was excellent at capturing these relaxed moments, rather than intentionally forcing a specific pose, which conversely gave the images a stronger sense of storytelling. Just like that line in the post, "Those who like kittens aren't necessarily all good people, but those who are liked by kittens are probably not bad," Lynette possesses an independent yet approachable delicacy. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of briefly overlapping with her through cosplay this time. Being able to deliver a satisfying cosplay photoshoot in this condition, with almost zero post-processing effort, truly counts as a highly relaxed and smooth outdoor photoshoot record.
