[Marcus Cosplay] Reverse: 1999, Casual Coffee Snapshots in White Sand and Wind Style

This time, I mainly wanted to explore the expressive feel of Marcus's "White sand and wind" look in an everyday environment. Skipping the studio, I set the scene in a sunlit café, hoping to capture her characteristic sense of detachment—maintaining her quiet self amidst the bustling noise.

Let's talk about the wig first; this fluffy brown hairstyle actually tests styling skill quite a bit. To recreate her natural curls, I spent plenty of time trimming the bangs and sideburn curves beforehand so the strands naturally frame the face. The bright orange triangular hair clip serves as a crucial visual anchor for the whole ensemble; its vivid hue beautifully balances the earth-toned outfit, adding a pop of color that brings the entire look to life. I was extra careful when securing it—keeping it flush with the hair without flattening the volume.

For makeup, the focus was entirely on the eyes. I chose blue-gray contact lenses with an enlarging effect, paired with winged eyeliner to outline that aloof, slightly nonchalant gaze. Rather than applying large patches of bright colors, I used basic earth tones for subtle contouring, focusing on flicking a neat curve at the outer corners with black liquid eyeliner. This lighting, balanced between natural daylight and indoor ambiance, conveyed a free, comfortable everyday feel far more naturally than studio lighting in Casual cosplay.

Post-processing kept the original light and shadow texture largely intact.

Through tailored eye makeup, precise accessory placement, and the relaxed mood brought by the gray jacket, I feel I found an authentic approach to this look.
