[Amiya Cosplay] Arknights Amiya Cosplay: Day One Pilgrimage at Hypergryph Carnival

Setting off under the day one outdoor sunlight at Hypergryph Carnival, making it to the venue entrance on time as an early riser definitely required some willpower. Bypassing the standard rush hour queue was thanks to extensive early prep. Significant thought went into breathability for this Amiya cosplay Cosplay outfit in summer outdoor heat. The main white shirt features lantern sleeves blending chiffon and lace; though appearing voluminous, the lightweight fabric prevents arms from getting stuffy. The black bow tie around the neck serves as the visual focal point, with central pearl and metallic rhinestone decorations reflecting soft radiance in strong natural light, brightening the collar area. To stay true to character designs, I wore high-saturation blue contact lenses paired with custom light-brown wigs and straight bangs. The huge brown plush rabbit ears on top remain the signature hallmark, where black bows and hollow heart rhinestones at the hairpiece base make the complete look appear both cute and exquisite. Specially wrapped blue finger tape served as today's finishing touch—encircling each knuckle to echo eye colors while enhancing a subtle tactical visual vibe. Despite morning drowsiness, prepping all clothing and accessories in early light, stepping outside into warm breezes before the venue, and witnessing growing crowd queues brought the unmistakable sensation of an ACG offline gathering. On-site lighting was superb, with blue skies and white clouds making the color contrast between white lace and black bows even sharper for crisp photos. Wearing a full gear setup at Hypergryph Carnival for the first time felt noticeably different from casual convention roaming. Carrying homemade freebie cards in my bag to hand over when meeting fellow fans or lingering Doctors brought visible joy to their faces. Face-to-face connections feel far more real than posting online. I also saw many incredible creators today, all dedicating heart to interpreting their beloved characters. Grooming the wig took careful thought, leaving longer strands draped loosely along both sides to form natural lines in photos. Silver-white heart buttons on the shirt front echoed silver buttons on the black skirt; although partially covered by backpack straps, overall Cosplay outfit completion felt satisfying. Taking selfies solo, I selected low-angle compositions. This perspective framed the top rabbit ears, dark streamlined building backgrounds, and green foliage completely without leaving empty negative space. Overall, despite temperature challenges for cosplayers, staying vigilant with sun protection and breathability keeps energy high. Venue AC was cool indoors, offering pleasant retreats after outdoor warmth. Next up, I plan to browse merch booths to hunt for favorite items and check out stage performances. Gathering offline with so many people sharing the same passion is an energizing experience in itself.
