A lot of thought went into preparing and shooting this costume and props, especially that long and heavy pink sniper rifle, which felt very substantial in hand. But to reproduce the character's feel, I literally carried it up and down the stairs over a dozen times. The sunlight today was exceptionally good, with clean tones of blue sky and white clouds; the contrast between the white railings and grey steps perfectly set off the black and white color scheme of the clothes. During the outdoor photography session, I tried a few different postures, including reaching out to interact with a lollipop or raising a hand to make movements, but my personal favorite is this relaxed sitting snapshot. The texture of the black stockings on my legs looks very natural under the sunlight, and the color-blocked shoes with red shoelaces also became a finishing touch. Actually, the halo on top of my head and the catgirl ears were both manually adjusted, with the pink tips of the hair echoing the inner colors, making the overall color scheme highly coordinated. The loose outer sports jacket is perfect for moving around during outdoor photography, while the green border and red bow tie of the sailor collar inside preserve a touch of academy style. The combination of a short skirt and leggings beautifully elongates the leg shapes when shot from a low upward angle on the stairs. The shooting process heavily tested expression management because the direct sunlight was a bit blinding, but the photographer caught it very accurately, capturing that sharp yet slightly playful state. Care was also put into the placement of the props, using a blurred foreground to give the frame layers, and the pink color of the rifle barrel was exceptionally conspicuous in the sun. This experience made me feel that cosplay is not just about putting on clothes, but more about understanding the character's aura and grasping the propriety of movements. Putting on this anime-style fashion equipment and walking outdoors felt as though I genuinely transformed into that girl wielding a weapon under the sun. When returning to the computer to sort through the photos, I found that the light and shadow changes on my face carried a great sense of storytelling; this real outdoor light is far more spirited than studio shoots. I hope to try different styles in more design-oriented scenes in the future, treating every single shoot as a complete character experience.
