[Navia Cosplay] Genshin Impact Young Lady's Magical Halloween Night

This photo set is a themed project for Genshin Impact Navia shot right before Halloween. For this shoot, instead of choosing a conventional studio, photographer @LittleRedWithoutLittleRedRidingHood and I agreed on a real-scene venue named "Twig Courtyard" that had a super festive atmosphere.

Honestly, I had seen many Halloween-themed photo sets before, mostly featuring red-and-black color schemes or leaning toward an eerie, dark vibe. But when I saw the setup of this venue, I felt that pairing it with Navia's gorgeous blue-and-gold color-blocked gown would be super interesting. In the first photo, you might notice I manually added a doodle of a ghost handprint and cartoon stickers, which looks quite convincing. However, to showcase a more authentic Cosplay photography texture, I removed those post-processing effects in photos two, three, and four to preserve the raw charm of the scene.

Getting back to the preparation for this shoot. First, regarding the costume: this blue-and-gold gown with extensive ruffles and lace details is actually quite intricate to wear—especially the helm decoration on the waist belt and the black-and-gold choker, which carry a strong texture without feeling overly heavy. The wig was styled with gentle waves and paired with custom blue contact lenses. In terms of makeup, I intentionally toned down heavy shading to keep it looking clear and translucent, hoping to retain natural skin texture under the warm scene lighting. The hat features white feathers and large blue flowers, matching that Halloween ball style that carries a hint of magic alongside formal elegance.

During the shoot, interacting with various props at the location was super fun. In photo three, I'm holding a small pumpkin in my hand, with haystacks, skeleton bones, and ghost plushies in the background. To express the casual feel of a Halloween costume party, I tried a few subtle side-profile standing poses so that the lines of the skirt hem and stockings could stretch out gracefully in frame. Photo four is a close-up leaning over a wooden platform decorated with mini jack-o'-lanterns, white skulls, and eyeball toys. This angle actually tested costume support and wardrobe control, but the final result was truly satisfying—the choker details around the neck, shoulder lines, and the texture of the stockings on my thighs were all beautifully displayed.

Regarding post-processing, since I retouched the photos myself this time, I intentionally enhanced the highlights and contrast of warm yellow tones, rather than tuning them to be eerie like a traditional haunted house. I felt that for a Halloween theme, it was more important to present a "dreamy fairytale night" feel. The texture of the grass and wooden shed, combined with the warm orange of pumpkins, allowed the overall image to fit the festive project while retaining the inherent grandeur and radiance of Navia as a character. The overall experience was that the "Twig Courtyard" location is genuinely perfect for Halloween cosplay outdoor shoots, and Navia's outfit unexpectedly created a great chemical reaction with this rustic holiday atmosphere.
