[Privaty cosplay] Goddess of Victory: NIKKE Firefly Anime Convention Maid outfit cosplay cat girl styling

Today, I wore Privaty from Goddess of Victory: NIKKE at the Firefly Anime Convention. The design of this outfit is very special; it's overall a black-and-white alternating Maid outfit cosplay, incorporating a lot of cat girl elements. The headpiece is black-and-white cat ears with lace trims, and the hair is blue-green twin tails. To restore the character, I intentionally pasted cat paw stickers on my forehead, and heightened the pink-toned blush and eyeshadow in the makeup, paired with light-colored contact lenses, hoping to present that cool yet cute temperament.

There are many details to the costume: the hollow-out design on the chest and the ruffles on the shoulders need careful management, and a cat paw sign with English letters written on it hangs on the white apron at the waist. Gloves and stockings are also meticulously matched; the white long gloves feature black bows, and the white over-the-knee stockings on the legs likewise have black garter straps and bow decorations, paired with black cross-strapped high heels, making the overall proportions look more slender.

The prop brought to the anime convention this time is a black-and-white colored long rifle model, with cat-paw-patterned stickers pasted on the stock and handguard. Because there is a gun in hand, there are many choices for poses when taking photos. When standing, the gun can be propped on the shoulder; when sitting, it can be placed on the legs. The shooting scene was chosen in front of the floor-to-ceiling window on the high floor inside the venue, where the lighting was excellent, with the tall city buildings outside the window as the background. The overall color tone leaned cool, but the lighting was sufficient. Because the skirt hem of this outfit is a multi-layered pleated design, when sitting down, it was necessary to slightly tidy up the skirt hem and use a crossed-leg pose to showcase the layering of the costume, while also better displaying the details of the White stockings and strapped high heels.

To maintain the coordination of the overall styling, during photoshoots I tried to make my expression look somewhat lazy or carry a slightly playful gaze. The prop gun is quite heavy, and holding or propping it for a long time is actually quite physically taxing, especially while needing to maintain posture stability. At the Convention photos site, the heaviness and layered ruffles of this outfit also brought some inconvenience when walking, requiring frequent adjustments. But it is precisely these complex layers that can present the best effect in front of the lens. I communicated with the photographer for a long time, trying a variety of different compositions, from half-body close-ups to full-body sitting postures, hoping to completely record every detail of this styling. Although a day at the anime convention is exhausting, being able to fully present my ideas and this design gives a strong sense of achievement. I hope everyone likes this version of Privaty.
