Before the shoot, I was wondering: if those two light novels were placed right in front of her, which one would Granny Citlali lean toward? \"Reincarnated as the Raiden Shogun and Becoming Unbeatable\" sounds pretty hardcore, while \"Please, My Kitsune Guuji!\" feels packed with scheming and everyday comedy. Honestly, for this Citlali cosplay, the two art books in my hands were just props to enrich the visual framing, but I couldn't help imagining plenty of mini character theater scenarios during Cosplay photography.

The overall styling for this shoot pursued a mysterious yet lazy Exotic style outfit. The wig features long light-pink wavy hair with thin braids on both sides; the blue-and-black palette and headphone-like shape of the headpiece make the top silhouette instantly recognizable. The blue geometric facial tattoos served as the makeup's highlight—to keep those lines crisp and clean, the makeup artist spent considerable time carefully outlining them. The eye makeup mirrored the blue tones, bestowing a gaze that felt calm yet scrutinizing.

Regarding costume details, the black sleeveless crop top paired with metallic arm rings and dark armguards incorporates asymmetric accessory design that reinforces her combat edge and mage temperament. The lower skirt utilizes patchwork craftsmanship, interweaving blue, purple, and pink satin fabrics with strap and cutout details along the edges, beautifully exhibiting skirt layering while seated. The most meticulous effort went into the black leather leg straps, crisscrossing from below the knees down to the ankles paired with platform lace-up sandals, which not only elongated leg lines but also infused the overall look with aggressive fashion flair. To ensure straps didn't slip during long shooting sessions, I repeatedly adjusted tightness; though it left some red marks, the camera-ready results were thoroughly worth it.

The shoot setting was built around an exotic style daybed set, where a red, blue, and orange geometric rug alongside deep purple drapes cultivated a strong dramatic atmosphere. The blue animal cushion and white pixel cushion nearby were grabbed on the fly as temporary props, yet harmonized surprisingly well with the character's palette. The photographer set up soft side-backlighting, bestowing hair strands and metal accents on my arms with lovely highlights, while making skin texture appear translucent. Three photos captured distinct seated poses: sitting upright holding the books felt dignified, leaning sideways with hands rested conveyed casual ease, while reclining against cushions represented the ultimate relaxed state. I intentionally adjusted leg positioning in every shot so the lace-up straps and shoe lines remained sharply displayed, as the strap design on these shoes is truly outstanding.

The greatest challenge during this shoot was maintaining comfortable sitting postures without looking stiff on camera. Because the skirt hem and leg straps restricted range of motion, every pose adjustment required care to prevent awkward fabric bunching. However, seeing the final photos, the graceful drape of the skirt and geometric crisscross of the straps were ideal—truly justifying all the preparation effort. Though I didn't have real light novels in hand, posing with these art books genuinely evoked that character sense of enjoying light reading. Right after wrapping up, I organized this photo set immediately, as the color harmony and overall vibe felt perfect for sharing as Anime cosplay content from Genshin Impact.
