This time, the three of us teamed up to cosplay the complete ensemble of the Angels of Delusion group from Zenless Zone Zero, featuring Sunna, Nangong Yu, and Aria. The outfit styling across the entire work adopted a distinctly girly pink, white, and black color palette, incorporating techwear-lite and cyber-sweet elements for a visually striking appeal. Shooting together as three close friends made the entire process full of joy, ultimately producing a set of final photoshoot photos that we are immensely proud of.

When it came to makeup and wigs, the three of us put a tremendous amount of thought into early preparations. The pink hair with twin buns on the left has exceptional character recognition, enhanced by teal highlights at the hair tips and small cyan horn accessories atop the head as a finishing touch, looking thoroughly energetic. The pale yellow-green half-up hairstyle in the middle is refreshing and sweet, paired with heart-shaped sunglasses and a colorful neck collar to convey a playful, nimble charm. The black hair with twin pigtails on the right features pink-and-black split hair accents, where the combination of ribbons and black mesh sleeves gives her a cool, edgy twist amidst her sweetness. To fit the character settings, beyond basic base makeup, we all heavily emphasized three-dimensional eye makeup and lip color choices to make our expressions before the camera even more captivating.

In terms of costume detail accuracy, every single piece worn by the three cosplayers showed meticulous consideration. The white-and-pink off-the-shoulder tutu dress on the left was adorned with a bright red bow across the chest and an eye-catching yellow star accent at the waist. White thigh straps with small red bows paired with white platform zippered ankle boots maintained cuteness while elongating lower-body visual proportions, flattering the leg lines beautifully. The middle character wore a white ruffled off-the-shoulder top layered under a pink short-sleeved cardigan, paired with a white pleated skirt, white athletic knee-high socks, and pink platform shoes with red-and-white buckles. The colorful choker around her neck and sunglasses atop her head greatly enriched the character's dimensional layers, preventing the outfit from feeling plain. The character on the right opted for a pink-and-black color-blocked crop top with sheer black mesh sleeves layered on the shoulders, paired with a black mini skirt, black-and-pink striped socks, and black platform shoes. This color-blocking design felt fresh and novel, striking a sweet-and-cool balance while preserving youthful agility, with elements responding to each other from head to toe.

For the shooting environment, we chose an anime convention photo spot featuring a huge pixel-art backdrop wall. The colorful anime graphic panels, blue-and-pink floor, and exaggerated heart and star patterns on the ground matched our outfit colors in perfect harmony. Overall lighting was soft diffused light, ideally suited for showing off vibrant outfits like these. During the shoot, we designed group poses such as making finger hearts, waving, and staggered standing positions; the photographer also provided highly professional guidance, helping us tune our expressions and postures to demonstrate our exclusive trio synergy. We fine-tuned our standing positions repeatedly to ensure each character held a balanced visual focus in frame without getting cut off at the composition edges.

The true meaning of cosplay lies in taking character images that originally exist in 2D anime works and materializing them through real garments, makeup, and styling. Although this set of Angels of Delusion group looks contained many complex accessories and layered elements, the result when worn was remarkably photogenic. Looking at this final group photoshoot picture with all three of us together, every bit of early preparation and hard work felt thoroughly worth it. I hope this work brings everyone some inspiration for Zenless Zone Zero character cosplay and outfit coordination.
