[Inubashiri Momiji cosplay] Touhou Project Red-Eyed White Hair, Animal Ears Dog Girl: CD30 Shoot Diary

Today was all about channeling the white wolf tengu, so here is a breakdown of the styling details and photoshoot experience for Touhou Project's Inubashiri Momiji at Comiday 30. For the wig, I selected a matte, heat-resistant pure white fiber. Trimming and contouring the bangs to frame my face took about two hours, followed by curling-iron styling and setting spray over a wig cap to ensure the strands held firm despite the convention crowds. Her signature red-and-gold tokin hat was secured directly to the upper wig tracks with bobby pins to keep it steady while navigating crowded halls. The ears were built from high-density EVA layered with faux fur, airbrushed with a delicate pink gradient inside so that light passes through them cleanly. The makeup centered on bold red liner winging outward from the corners, paired with vibrant orange-red lenses and deep crimson eye shadow for an alert, piercing gaze that looked striking both in selfies and through the lens.

The attire is tailored from white jacquard fabric with a mandarin collar, accented by three oversized white pom-poms on the chest that provide great dimension and fluffy Dog girl charm, flanked by red-and-gold trim matching the hat. On the CD30 floor, we found a neutral gray wall that provided clean contrast for the white textures without visual clutter. Posing involved grasping the ribbons, canting the torso slightly, and tilting the head to showcase the sprightly energy of a canine spirit. To avoid blowing out the white fabric and pom-poms, the reflector was positioned at a 45-degree angle to sculpt facial planes while retaining the jacquard's jacquard weave details. Shooting stopped down to around f/5.6 ensured tack-sharp textures across the eyes, tokin, pom-poms, and fabric without rigid artificiality. A lint roller and anti-static spray kept the plush white elements immaculate all day, bringing this white hair, animal ears portrayal to life in a truly rewarding Touhou Project session.
