Amidst the packed schedule at TGS on-site, I finally squeezed out some time to share this Duet Night Abyss Psyche cosplay photoshoot with everyone. This costume prep actually took quite a long time, and the challenge lay right in that seemingly exaggerated black armor and the giant weapon.

Preparing in the dressing room early in the morning, just dealing with this long silver-white hair took a lot of effort. The wig texture needed to express that cold sense of layering, and the bangs' curve was repeatedly adjusted several times; fortunately, the final effect achieved the expected fluffiness and natural look. For the makeup, I specially chose very bright green contact lenses and carefully drew a pink eyeshadow blend, allowing the overall styling to maintain Psyche's originally fierce aura while leaking out a bit of small cuteness and agility under my own understanding.

Actually, the most exhausting part was still that black spiky armor and that massive black-and-yellow blade-shaped prop dragging on the ground. The weapon itself is quite light, but its size is too huge; moving around freely at a packed exhibition venue like TGS on-site is truly a physical chore. The black-and-yellow color scheme skirt hem design is very interesting; those irregular lace and cutout details along the edges carry plenty of texture under the lights, and the irregular boot opening along with the dotted tattoos are exceptionally photogenic when walking on the booth floor.

When arriving at the TGS booth, I was deeply drawn to that massive green-and-black colored monster sculpture in the venue, which served perfectly as a backdrop. Personally, I am highly satisfied with the composition of the second full-body photo, which precisely extends Psyche's lifted single leg posture and the giant weapon in her hand outward to both sides. Combined with the gritty industrial texture carried by the booth itself, it wonderfully transmits the character's charm of walking on the edge of danger.

There were many players and photographers stopping in front of the booth, and everyone showed immense interest in this high-contrast black-white-yellow color scheme and the unconventional giant weapon. Although weaving through the convention hall to frequently change camera positions drained a lot of energy, and the makeup had to be touched up several times due to sweating, a sense of achievement spontaneously arose when hearing people passing by say that this silver hair and green eyes styling was very attractive. The shoot happened to catch a timeframe when the venue's lighting was quite rich; the lights hitting the white hair and yellow-and-black armor built a very sharp light-and-shadow contrast, elevating the photo's overall weight and combat vibe through this piece of gaming convention photography.

To present the state that closest fits the Psyche in my own mind, I not only put effort into the makeup, hair, and armor, but didn't let go of the details on my hands either, such as the dark totem tattoo on my arm and that row of dotted tattoos on my thigh. These tiny details all added a lot of recognizability to the overall styling in the final photos. As one of my most seriously prepared roleplay works recently, this TGS shooting experience can be called a very special convention experience, giving me more insights on how to improve photo performance in the future.
