When conceiving this wedding dress cosplay look for Groza, the goal was very clear: to shoot a cool, dreamlike, and slightly classical picture.

Let's start with the makeup and hair. This time, a peach-orange-pink long wig was used. To fit the character setting, a meticulous circular braid was specifically done at the top of the head, with a strand left hanging down on the side. The straight bangs on the forehead were trimmed just right, which, paired with subtle inner eyeliner and peach-pink blush, broke up the character's original sharpness, adding a touch of soft and gentle temperament that perfectly matches the atmosphere of this "Destined Beautiful Lady" wedding dress.

The details on the costume are actually the focus of the entire look. The main body is a white off-the-shoulder deep-V gown, and the design of the neckline beautifully showcases the collarbone lines. Symmetrical cutouts were made on both sides of the waist, embellished with golden metal buckles to break up the monotony of pure white. The laurel-leaf-shaped necklace at the neck is the crowning touch; the round sapphire embedded in the middle provides a visual center of gravity for the overall elegant color scheme. I also paired it with a pair of semi-transparent white long gloves that extend past the elbows, and the lace trim on the edges of the gloves adds a delicate touch of softness.

The outer long skirt hem utilizes a diamond-mesh tulle material, showing a subtle shimmer under natural light. This sheer transparency of the tulle, combined with a high slit design, not only displays the leg lines but also retains the lightness and ethereal vibe of the wedding dress. Paired with the white pointed high heels on her feet, it elongates her entire silhouette.

A great deal of thought also went into the choice of the shooting location; instead of going outdoors, we found a vintage indoor scene. The vintage wooden organ in the frame serves as an excellent prop, with sheet music and a pink-and-white rose bouquet placed on top. The dried flowers and leather suitcase beside it, along with the arched wooden-framed full-length mirror in the fourth photo, fill the frame with a classical oil painting-like texture.

Light is the soul of photography. This time, we specially chose white curtains with lace patterns to softly diffuse the natural light from outside. The high-key lighting renders the skin and the skirt hem with a translucent white. Even from backlit or reverse-lit angles, the sense of breathing in the tulle material is preserved, enveloping the entire frame in a serene halo.

At this special milestone when Girls' Frontline is about to shut down its servers, being able to pull off such a complete anime cosplay photoshoot for Groza means more to me than just fulfilling a shooting plan. From planning, makeup and styling, lighting, to every single moment the shutter was pressed, it felt like bidding a solemn farewell to this game that has accompanied me for a long time and to this character. I hope to use this light, pure, and holy play of light and shadow to retain the beautiful memories of her.
