Bringing this Sangonomiya Kokomi Doujin bride look from initial design conceptualization to the final shoot actually took quite a long preparation period. Wanting to step away from her official traditional attire without losing the gentle yet resilient aura inherent to her character, we utilized broad areas of low-saturation taro purple and pure white, with a royal blue ribbon bow as a visual anchor. The number of skirt layers and tulle mesh texture were adjusted repeatedly to balance fluffy volume without looking bulky; the tailor truly worked wonders on the stiffness of the chest bow and the graceful drape of the pearl chains. The wig was a focal point of this styling—light pink with light blue highlights. Positioning the large bow hairpiece on top took a long time to secure the right angle so it wouldn't block line of sight while rendering a crisp side profile. During the shoot, both photographer and makeup artist were exceptionally dedicated, switching across three distinct settings to express different emotional notes of this look.

The first setting was a clean white studio shoot, where a minimalist environment offered the purest showcase of costume details and color layering. Poses lifting the skirt train effectively elongated visual proportions, allowing the mesh fabric to shimmer under light. The second setting featured a vintage court-style red velvet sofa, paired with crystal chandeliers and wine goblets; here, I wanted to capture a slightly more mature, elegant presence. Sitting there raising a glass, my gaze was lowered slightly to project composed contemplation. The contrast between the black-and-white checkered floor and red drapes infused the frame with rich narrative depth. The third setting was my personal favorite—the garden swing area, decorated with lawns, fresh flowers, and adorable mushroom plushies, feeling as though I had stepped out of court back into nature's embrace. Sitting on the wooden swing or leaning into flower clusters created a very soft atmosphere; holding a bouquet of white roses, my entire state felt completely relaxed.

Throughout the entire shoot, what impressed me most were the iridescent streamers on the outfit and tiny sequins on the skirt, which shimmered with flowing luster under lighting adjustments—a tactile quality hard to fully capture in static pictures. For makeup, we aimed for a translucent style that balanced divine aura with youthful girliness; purple contact lenses and matching eyeshadow maintained high color cohesion, preventing visual clutter. Though this look is stunning, mobility was indeed somewhat constrained. The combination of over-the-knee white stockings and Mary Jane shoes lengthened leg lines beautifully, but crouching or climbing onto the swing required extra caution to prevent snagging. Special thanks to Miyou Miaomiao House for providing full-process support, handling everything thoughtfully from set design to lighting calibration, creating a wonderful atmosphere on set. This shoot was not merely completing a photoshoot project, but a step closer to the character's inner world. After all, even as a leader, she possesses many delicate, gentle thoughts. I hope this bride styling conveys that feeling of being tenderly protected.
