This theme setting is "Two People Smoking at the Supermarket Back Door." To present this slightly street-styled and narrative image, we chose to shoot inside a pure white studio, constructing that everyday yet slightly rebellious atmosphere through props and light-and-shadow. To fit the temperament of the character "Yamada," stylistically I chose a very classic white T-shirt paired with distressed washed denim shorts, draped with a stiff-textured black motorcycle leather jacket on the outside. This pairing looks simple, but it actually heavily tests body proportions; the cropped top and high-waisted shorts have a great lengthening effect, while the addition of the leather jacket gives the overall look an extra touch of coolness and toughness. The lower body was paired with sheer Black stockings and white chunky-heeled mid-calf boots; the color collision of black, white, and blue has a very rich visual layering, and the ruggedness of the leather jacket forms an ingenious balance with the sexiness of the Black stockings.

During the shoot, the use of props played a decisive role in building the atmospheric vibe. The simple yellow plastic turnover crate, the black cylindrical trash can on site, coupled with the cigarette pinched in hand, instantly outlined a mundane story feel of "just finishing work and catching some breath in the back alley." Although it was a white studio, through reasonable placement and the photographer's precise control over lighting, that mottled and slightly rough industrial style emerged, getting very close to the set scene.

In terms of action and expression performance, I'd like to share a little personal experience. Since it's a smoking scene, the state definitely shouldn't be too tense. I tried to immerse myself in that zoned-out, languid emotion; the gaze doesn't need to constantly stare at the lens—narrowing slightly or looking elsewhere, with the mouth naturally relaxed, often captures moments full of feeling. For instance, when sitting on the turnover crate or half-undressing the leather jacket to reveal the shoulders, the body's center of gravity must be precisely found; the posture can be casual but shouldn't look slouchy. Half-undressing the leather jacket is an excellent way of presentation; it inadvertently reveals the lines of the shoulders, neck, and collarbone, breaking the dullness of the overall styling while naturally guiding the visual focus to the figure.

For this kind of dark and cool-edgy style of cosplay, the processing of facial lighting is particularly important. During the shoot, the photographer and I repeatedly adjusted the light source, ensuring facial three-dimensionality while also highlighting the leather texture of the jacket. The gesture of holding the cigarette was also designed: fingers shouldn't exert too much force, the wrist is slightly bent, and the arm hangs naturally or lifts up, which can elongate nice muscle lines. The space of the white studio gave us plenty of room to play with; whether leaning against the plastic crate or squatting by the trash can, as long as limbs are kept stretched, matched with the red wig and deliberately deepened eye makeup, it can generate a strong visual impact against the white background. The shooting process for this photo set was extremely pleasant, and I hope it provides some reference for everyone when trying cosplay with such a strong everyday feel.
