For Minato Yukina's birthday celebration shoot, the preliminary preparations took quite a long time. For the costume, I chose a pink-and-black color-blocked off-shoulder long-sleeve shirt and a black pleated skirt; the black lace trim at the neckline and the heart-shaped rhinestoned bow tie were key restored parts. To enhance the waistline, it was paired with a black leather metal-buckle belt. For the legs, black fishnet stockings were chosen along with black platform shoes, making the overall dark sweet-cool style more unified. The wig was specially trimmed with blunt bangs, wearing black lace bow hair accessories on both sides, and the makeup was also coordinated with deepened eye makeup to highlight a cool and detached feel.

The set was chosen in a white-toned indoor space, and a large amount of floral materials were prepared as props, including white roses, pink roses, and blue-and-white hydrangeas. On the table were a white-backed easel standee and a pure white small cake with a silver crown, surrounded by pink and white balloons and white tulle curtains for embellishment, keeping the overall color tone controlled within low-saturation color schemes like pink, white, blue, and purple.

During the shoot, I communicated with the photographer about different compositions. The posture of crossing legs while sitting on the sofa focused on showcasing the pairing of black fishnet stockings and platform shoes, lengthening the leg lines through the extension of the calves, making the picture look both a bit sexy and not overly out of line. The posture of sitting on the floor holding a cake or hugging a plush toy appeared much cuter and well-behaved. To better display the details, we also took half-body close-ups, such as resting the chin on the hand, which could showcase the bow tie at the neckline and the layers of the wig. In terms of lighting treatment, a large area of soft light was used to make the character's facial features look cleaner and more translucent. The surrounding cluster of plush toys and flower baskets not only enriched the colors of the frame but also made the entire birthday celebration scene fuller. From the tailoring of the costume to every bouquet of flowers in the scene, everything was meant to make this birthday celebration cosplay more complete.

During post-processing, the main adjustments were made to the overall contrast and color saturation, making the contrast between the pink clothes and the blue-and-white flowers more vivid. Retouching focused on skin texture and hair strand clarity, without overly exaggerated liquefaction, trying to keep a sense of reality. When selecting photos, I deliberately chose those natural moments that could showcase the full-body outfit and expression. Although it was a hassle for so long, seeing this set of photos full of birthday atmosphere made me feel that all the hard work was healed.
